"The check in process was a little bit strange and there was confusion with the parking garage, but when we figured it out, it was easy after that. The door was very difficult to open, even with our code. The breakfast spread was great, but we were missing hot options. I think the only hot option for food was waffles. Overall, we had a great day, but some good scrambled eggs or sausage or something else would've pushed it over the top and gotten a 5."

"The property is nice and is located in a convenient location in Reykjavik. It is nice that they have a free breakfast. The shower in our room wasn’t very well designed so we’ll get the floor pretty wet and with the very high winds, our windows didn’t have good seals around them so it was making noise all night. Other than that, it was a good steak. "

"Good value for money, close to key attractions within the Golden Circle (around half an hour drive), nice staff, great breakfast. Stayed in the superior room - clean, spacious and comfortable overall. Good soundproofing too. There's also a cozy common area and outdoor hot tub at our building. There's EV charging (non-fast charging) available near the reception/ restaurant building, at a fee."

"Excellent hotel. Quite limited in terms of menu options in the restaurant, and it is eyewateringly expensive even by Icelandic standards but the location is stunning and the rooms are very nice. The Northern Lights “bar” was a great place to watch the view (and Northern Lignts). We travelled in March and whilst the roads around the hotel were fine and largely cleared of ice the 36 was very tricky to drive. Worth checking the travel news and maybe getting a 4x4 if snow is likely. "

"Quiet and comfortable stay right in the heart of Selfoss. Just what we needed after a long flight and no sleep! Great gym and breakfast. Walking distance to restaurants. You do have to pay extra to use the spa. "
