This spacious (3000+ sq.ft.) 3 bedroom home (including 2 primary bedrooms) offers peace and tranquility in the beautiful mountain setting of Fox Acres Resort in Red Feathers Lake, CO. The home boasts 2200+ sq. ft. of stone patio surrounding the house with amazing views, including overlooking one of the many lakes in Fox Acres. The west-facing patio offers a breathtaking sunset view over the lake. Enjoy the hot tub, gas fire pit, and patio furniture while taking in the views. While only steps away from the 17th hole putting green, the house is surrounded by trees, offering ultimate privacy. The primary has a king sized bed, the 2nd primary has a queen, and the third bedroom has a queen and 2 twin beds. Each bedroom is large with it's own full bathroom attached. The spacious living room and large dining room allow for plenty of gathering space for the whole family or a group of friends. Hiking, cross country skiing, fishing, and a beautiful 18-hole golf course are steps from your door!

Lovely home and deck. The evenings sitting on deck with a glass of wine were perfect. Played 18 holes of golf at the beautiful course. The terrain and rock outcroppings are spectacular. Wonderful House and Location

House had plenty of room for whole family of four adults and two children. The house was equipped with everything neeeded. Kids loved the fire pit, hot tub and climbing on the bolders out back. Adults also enjoyed watching golfers and the wildlife. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Family Getaway

Our family of four loved the space and luxury of this house. Each child got their own room and bathroom, and the master suite was divine. The large living room with double sided fireplace that opened up to the dinning and kitchen made sure that everyone felt cozy and included. Very clean, well stocked and in a beautiful, gated community.

One of our favorite places to stay

I think this is the fifth time we've stayed here and we hope to return. The house is beautiful, cozy, perfect for our needs and in a great area. We love the hot tub. They were working on the water pipes while we were there (I'm sure this is temporary) so we used bottled water, provided by the property, for drinking, but that wasn't a major problem for us. The owner is very communicative and friendly.

One of Our Favorite Places

I believe this was our fourth year in a row staying at this property, and we love it as much now as we did on our first stay! Overall I would say that the cleanliness and condition of the home were slightly lower than they have been the past few years, but nothing that would keep us from coming back. Beautiful Home

Absolutely beautiful and spacious home. We loved the hot tub and the piano is a nice touch. The only complaint we had was that the HOA turns the water off from 7 pm to 7 am every night. Not too big of a deal, but this probably should be explained up front. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely gorgeous

The house was exactly as described, and pictured. It was big and spacious. The location was gorgeous. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean. My kids (12 and 15) are music freaks and loved the piano. The huge table is perfect for family meals and playing games. The views were more than I had hoped for. Our first trip to Colorado was just perfect, and we hope to visit again.

Long weekend

The first time you walk in this house, it just keeps going. Very nice house, well kept, very clean and well taken care of. Went to Beaver Meadows to go tubing. Didn't get to use patio much because of snow, but it's a great view and plenty of room. Would like to come back maybe during golf season. Manager great to work with. Has everything you need.

Gorgeous Getaway home

We're 6 family members representing 3 generations, all adults. This home is perfect for our needs. The large sprawling layout of the house gives everyone privacy if they want it and there's plenty of space for doing puzzles, playing games, and eating meals together while looking at beautiful scenery through the large glass windows and doors. The hot tub is great and the home is in a beautiful area for walking,with lots of wildlife and rarely a car. We had the fireplace on most of the time and it afforded coziness- especially as we watched the snowfall. The kitchen is well stocked. Weve stayed here numerous times and will go back.

Fall break

The house and the view are lovely. We were looking forward to the fireplace in the bedroom, but it wouldn’t stay lit. We were also looking forward to the hot tub, but there were some problems with that. But it is a lovely setting, and if you’re a golfer you would probably love it.

Very nice. Lovely location. Quiet. All good except for missing toiletry items in bathrooms. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap should be provided in each. The fire pit and hot tub were a big hit. No communication with property manager -- no need.

Pluses and minuses

Large property. Multi-level property with stairs between the levels. Too many stairs for me. Nice area. Everything was scented. Having allergies, this was a problem. Sheets, even the garbage bags were scented. Walking one night by a beautiful little lake that abutted the property, we were jumped on by a big dog that was off leash. Good area to golf though.
