We had a nice one night stay at Hotel Loa. The hotel is quite new and has a high standard. Breakfast & Dinner was very good. We liked the beds and the overall design of the hotel. Value for money is good and it’s not far away from the south of Iceland. Great location!

The hotel is pretty new with modern design. The room is bright and clean. The shower is very comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best I have had in Iceland. I would definitely stay in the same hotel in the future.

Breakfast was very good, self serve coffee machines were a nice touch. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Happy hour was a nice touch and a good way to have a glass of wine and a beer and relax in the lobby. Rooms were very clean, although a little warm even in the cold weather! We definitely recommend staying at the Hotel Lóa and we will stay again on our next trip! The rooms are simple, comfortable and beautiful and very clean.

A lovely place to stay with just enough that you need right around it. We were able to do our laundry at the laundromat in the same parking lot (seemingly the only laundromat in southern Iceland) and were recommended by the desk staff to get some delicious pizza at the gas station restaurant across the street. The room was nice and affordable for Iceland, and the complementary buffet breakfast was amazing. The staff was so nice and helpful as well.
We even saw the northern lights from the entrance!

Brand new hotel. Comfortable and clean room. We loved the design. Location very convenient for visiting the south coast of Iceland. Amazing views of the northern lights from the hotel (area is dark enough to see them really well). Breakfast was fairly simple in options but the quality of the available food was really good. The staff at Hotel Loa were amazing and were able to cater to all our needs. Our room was immaculate and a lovely view over the surrounding fields to the back when the sun made an appearance. The bar and restaurant at the hotel were great after a full day of exploring the South coast.
