The look of the property is clean and attractive. The price of all the extras ā€” included in most hotels ā€” are quite high. We had real trouble with the ā€œfreeā€ WiFi in the room. Having to be charged extra for enhanced WiFi in order to conduct business online activity in the room was over the top .. also, not at all well explained by promotional material or even the staff when trying to get proper WiFi in the room. We will find other hotels in Raleigh in the future

The Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Midtown is an excellent place to stay while visiting Raleigh. It's located in a nice area very close to lots of shopping and restaurants. The hotel property is clean and the the Front Desk Staff was friendly, polite and accommodating.

The hotel was nice and clean overall. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The beds were horrible. Its like they remodeled the hotel without replacing the mattresses. They were old spring mattresses that were so uncomfortable I ended up sleeping on the couch which was sadly, more comfortable than the beds. If this hotel replaced pillows and mattresses, I would have rated it highly.
