Farm Retreat

This was my parents original homestead and our first trip back since we passed it to the Rassmussen family. Their love and care for the home and acreage shows — it was like old times, only better. It’s peaceful and quiet and was fun to watch the deer in the yard while drinking our morning coffee. Life is better at the ranch 🙂

Accurate Website Listing

The website listing accurately represented the house. Its an old modge podge ranch house on the out skirts of town. Check in and out were really easy. The house was reallly clean. We appreciated the kid appropriate dvds and small toys that were available. The house is located in a pretty rural area. It basically takes 20-30 minutes to get to anything (gas, food, etc). So you need to plan accordingly. There are some owls that live on the property and it was cool to see and hear them in the early evening. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great to unplug

Surrounded by wheat fields and an oldtime farm. No internet no cable just peace and quiet! We didn't want to leave.

Quaint, Retro, Peaceful

We loved this cute stay! It reminded me of my grandparents home. Lots of character and cowboy charm. If you embrace retro and love times past, this is definitely your vibe. Also has a BBQ, fire pit, and corn hole game in the back yard which we loved. No internet, so come prepared to unplug!

Great little farmhouse.

We loved this place. Private and off the beaten path.Tried to book it for a return, but it was unavailable. Will definitely keep it on my favorites list next time I travel that way. Thank you!
