Property at a convenient historical accessible area
Affordable luxury in beautiful and rustic Queretaro downtown. Close walking distance all around downtown and no transportation needed. Plenty to eat all around, and lots of night life activities.
I had a wonderful stay at Kuku ruku. My room was big and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly and the area was easily walkable to great restaurants and museums.
It was very good value for money, and the hotel is in a superb location. Rooms are good, they may need a little bit of maintenance - small details.
My only complaint is parking: 350 MXN night, and the parking garage is 4 blocks away

A good place with basic services. You have a bed, a bathroom and toilette. Place has a very rustic image. Seems cool. Only thing could be improved is the cleanliness/ maintenance of the room. Other than that, a great option to stay one night at a very low cost.
It was great and lovelu 15 years ago when I visited for the first time. August 2025, was a different story, it has leaks, spots in walls and seilings, depressing.
Booked a deluxe room, no complaints, had a garden access w gated door, used the strap and lock from our Loctote travel bag to secure the door at night. Allowed us to put the fan in front of it and then we had excellent airflow. The young girl at the desk was friendly. Slight issue at the desk during check in. Has happened to me a few times in Mexico. Seems they cant tell that I have already paid in full, glad I bring detailed receipts.
Nice hotel. Good value. The rooms without windows are smelly and stuffy. We left the door open and fan on as much as possible. Might be worth paying a bit extra for a room with a window. Rest of the experience was really nice.

Huge room with one plug in only. Be ready to make a mess when you shower. Also hot water never came out.

Good location. My room was ar the other side of the reception, so it was noisy. Some of the staff kept playing on the PC and cursing out loud so many times. I also saw some of them smoking in the patio even though it is prohibited. No easy to take a hot shower, cold water was an issue. Rooms don't look like the photos.

I did not like that they didn't give me the room I selected, then why they give options for rooms?
