Staff are very friendly and accomodating. Very nice atmosphere. If you are used to 4 or 5 star accomodationd you may be dissapointed. The accomodations look nicer on photos than in real life. Having said this if you are ok with a 3star level than this is a nice place. We were upgraded from our room which was described as a bungalow (single room of a restaurant) to a tent so we ended up glamping. Over all a fun different experience just not at 4/5 star level. Loved the staff!!!

Liked: Cleanliness
The experience of staying in a hotel's take on jungle glamping is fun, staying in a semi-cavas tent surrounded by jungle and with a private plunge pool was a welcome reprieve to cool off from the Costa Rican sun and humidity. The room was a private bungalow and the aircon kept the space cool and humidity under control. Keeping with the camping vibe, downsides are: a firm mattress and uncomfortable pillows, a limited (but tasty) breakfast - serving a breakfast of the day rather than offering any choice, and a sliding door that separates a toilet / shower, not such a problem for a couple but families or friends may find this lack of privacy an issue. The hotel is situated a few minutes drive from the main road (initially a bit tricky to locate) - there is a big restaurant immediately next door (Ronnie's), else you need to drive (or taxi) for meals out. The benefit is being a quiet and tranquil location, with the feel of being immersed in the rainforest. Note the entrance to the Manuel Antonio National Park is a 15 minute drive. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were attentive - but is feels less boutique and more glamping, so 2/3 nights is the most we would recommend staying.

Disliked: Amenities
My review of this hotel is a bit mixed. I will start with a couple negative items and then end with what we liked.
We were not informed that our accommodation was at least four flights of stairs lower than the main level, restaurant and parking. I was suffering from a back injury made worse from travel and hiking and then having to lug baggage up and down all the steps was no fun at all. Then there were parties on two sides of our tent with loud music and people shouting made it impossible to sleep. The tent had bugs and spiders, and I killed about ten insects before crawling in bed. But it was actually a great tittle setup had it not been for the above mentioned items. We had rented and paid the tent for two nights but only stayed one because of our dissatisfaction. And paid again for a different hotel wich was worth every penny not to have to stay there another night.
