"The hotel is under renovations and it was not mentioned. The lock on our door broke and we were locked in. They sent two workers thru a window to get us out. Then when we took a shower there was no hot water. I would like a refund this was not acceptable ever."

"My husband and I have stayed overnight at the Hotel Coolidge on many occasions. It is conveniently located near Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The owner and staff are always friendly, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, coffee and tea are provided around the clock in the lobby, there is on-site parking (which only once was full when we were there), and it is a comfortable and reasonably-priced hotel. It is over 100 years old, and the halls and lobby are furnished and decorated with period pieces. The hotel provides discount tickets for breakfast at one of two restaurants on the same street. We recommend Hotel Coolidge to those who aren't looking for modern accommodations with big-screen tvs and cookie-cutter decor."
