The staff were very friendly but the restaurant was closed on Sundays which we were not made aware of before. The facilities are clean and comfortable though a bit dated. Really nice indoor heated pool and kids play area. Mosquito coverings on window not well sealed and the mosquitos were vicious…even in the spring.

This is a very luxurious hotel with 3 pools, excellent dining facilities and breakfast in a garden setting. Staff very friendly and helpful in all matters. This hotel highly recommended.

I travel all over the world around 50 years. I arrived at night at Montevideo. The driver from Cot was extremely rude.I took a taxi to this hotel. The security is the big problem her I think his name is Gonzalo. He never helped me . He seems in a very bad mood like he hates his job. No manners . No help . He took my American If and never returned my document.later I asked for a beer opener he never gave me one . He DONT CARE !!The place is not 5 stars I been in Las Vegas and France and London many times I know what a 5 stars is. The place is gorgeous. The green. The pool. The light. The jewelry for sale is beautiful. I’m a chef The menu is too simple . No vegan options. The beef was super salty extremely salty. The calabaza soup was good . The wine was ok. Camila the server is amazing she is the best here . She cares . I asked for a walk up call at 5:15 am to catch my plane and “the security “ Gonzalo I believe is his name never called . I had to take 4 luggage’s . He don’t even say GOOD MORNING! That dude should be fire . Terrible servers ce.I took an Uber move my own bags myself and took off with sadness. The place is nice . The breakfast is better than the restaurant. The servers are working hard and helping. But I don’t think I will return to a hotel with this. Type of rudeness . Security ? The problem I never felt safe with this employee. Is terrible to work in that nice hotel and be rude with your customers .the tv wasn’t working i beer opener in the room.

mixed feelings, but still positive.

Hotel is a bit dated and needs renovations. There were clear signs of decay and cleanliness could definitely improve (dirty tub, cobwebs in corridors). This however doesn't take from the overall experience and most staff is friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast is almost as good as it gets, just not as top notch as it was 7 years ago when I last stayed here.

Hotel antigo, muito charmoso e decorado com mobília antiga, bonita e bem conservada. Em localização tranquila, adequada para quem está de carro. Apartamentos amplos e confortáveis, cama excelente, chuveiro bom. Estrutura carece de manutenção em vários pontos. Café da manhã servido em salão externo junto à piscina, muito feio e desconfortável.

El sillón cama incomodo

El personal muy amable y muy buena disposición. Nos quedamos en una habitación familiar para 2 adultos y dos niños de 11 y 13 años, quienes durmieron en sillón cama de 1 plaza y media. La cama matrimonial súper cómoda pero el sillón cama no es para dos adolescentes, además de que el colchón era una colchoneta y tocaban los resortes del sillón.
