Fantastic property; very helpful service. Food is very good. Beach is spectacular. Good value for the price. Room service and refrigerator repair-stocking a little slow, but overall an excellent experience. Be aware of some challenges with the online reservation (including using Hotels.com) which may be a function of the property changing hands from Karisma to Nickelodeon.

This is a Nickelodeon Hotel, not what was advertised. From hat we learned there is a recent change in management and new manager is trying to save money where possible, so they don’t have enough staff. Check in and check out will take you at least an hour each time, the line for the COVID test took also a little over an hour. This is not the employee’s fault, they simply don’t have enough people. You will spend too much time waiting for everything at this place and again… this is not Azul Beach, this is Nickelodeon. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing place where you can drink… this is not the place.

Soy gerente de operaciones en una cadena de hoteles y me molesto de gran manera que no obtuve el hotel que reserve con Expedia, yo reserve AZUL para adultos con mi pareja celebrando 2 años de casados, luego de 15 años de relación y 7 hijos que tenemos, quería un hotel para mi y el, me fui hasta Cap Cana porque pensé que mi reserva era allá, cuando llego aquí y veo que es Nickelodeon (niños!!!!) pedí hablar con 1 supervisor de recepción y es tan incompetente que no fue capaz de darme la cara a ver de qué manera podíamos solucionar mi situación, aún diciéndole que me interesa quedarme y pagar incluso 1 noche más. El joven Cesar del check in fue atento y trato dentro de sus posibilidades de ayudarme y le agradezco, pero la solución no estaba en el. Expedia me ha hecho pasar mi aniversario de boda en un hotel para niños y el personal del hotel no ha sido capaz de darme una solución, ejemplo un cambio para el Azul de Cap Cana, era lo que quería.

En cuanto al hotel es hermoso, limpio ,cuidado y tranquilo , la habitación es inmensa con todo lo necesario y muy bien ambientada, la comida deliciosa ,el personal muy atento y cordial. Mi queja va a la pagina que debe advertir que es un hotel familiar y de muchos niños que es su público fundamental y que se llama Nickelodeon, llegando alli nos enteramos que no es Azul como dice la publicidad , bueno nos quedamos y lo disfrutamos.

This property no longer exists. We had no idea when booking that this property is now nickelodeon. Expedia never contacted us and when we arrived they did not have our reservation. If we knew this was a Nickelodeon resort, we would not have booked it. The resort itself was clean and not crowded. Pools were very nice. The staff was friendly. The food was not good. Only 1-2 restaurants were open each day. The buffet was repetitive. Swim up bars we’re not open. The water park was small. The only “bar” to hang out and have drinks is a dark wine bar. Overall we were disappointed and ended up leaving a day early. We would not return.

Still cant decide what i liked better: the staff or the grounds. Extremely well maintained and great servuce all around. Some rules about room servuce were tricky but manageable. Food was 6/10 so not the best but not bad enough to get you awqy from the amazing staff. Yokaina in particular was a standout star! Promote her now!

The view, room and especially the staff was worth the stay. I will recommend anyone from family to friends to stay here. The food from every restaurant was good but the staff makes the property worth coming back the only negative in my opinion was adult entertainment at night and music by the pool but besides that I will be back soon… my niece loved this property.

From the first day we arrive the shower drain was clogged. They went three times to fix never did the bathroom smelled like sewer the whole time we were there. Room service barely answer the phone and when they did they will bring part of what I order or nothing at all and I’ll have to call again and again.Restaurant staff and bar staff were amazing. Most of the restaurants that we visit didn’t have half of their menu available.

Food was terrible, zero activities for kids, premium pool sitting area is dirty - drinks sit around for days and no one clean them, beach is not accessible due to seaweed, mix drinks are watered down, some staff acts like we’re there to bother them!
