Charming hotel with courteous staff in a great location. Be aware that there is no elevator and most rooms are on the third floor.

Hotel itself was great, old-school, and had a lot of character. The room had a great view of the plaza, and breakfast was excellent. Lost a star because it was not obvious at all before getting there that A) the hotel lobby and check-in was on the second floor, and that B) the hotel has no elevator. It would be seriously problematic for many people.

You can't get closer to centre, right next to plaza de armas. Great room, clean and neat. Good breakfast and very kind staff.

The hotel staff are extremely warm, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is full spread and delicious. They provide luggage storage. On request, they arranged our taxi to airport and prepared a to go breakfast when we had an early departure. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel!!

Great location right by the Plaza Des Armas. Easy walk to ferry (Isla Magdalena) and to restaurants and shopping. Rooms were clean and spacious. Good breakfast. The lobby is above ground level with no elevator - so you do have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs

This is an old hotel; it has been renovated and it is impecably clean. The location is optimal to explore the city and to reach the tours. However, this is more most important - there are stairs for everything: to reach reception, to go to the room, to for for breakfast, even the restrooms in the lower flower have steps. Not a problem for young people, but anybody with mobility issues should be aware of it. Beyond that, a lot of us to excursions leaving very early in the morning, and it would be nice to have a coffee or some fruit when leaving in morning; we missed breakfast both days.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the neighborhood seemed very safe. The Punta Arenas seaside is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The wifi in the hotel was practically non-existent. The air-conditioner in the hotel was non-functional. At night they used to switch on the heater so high that sleeping was very difficult. We had to open the window at night from the second day onwards even though it was quite cold outside. We had to risk catching cold over not being able to sleep at all because of unbearable heat. The hotel is on the 3rd floor and they have people who will cardy your luggage up and down. The breakfast was quite ordinary. There aren’t that many great hotel options in Punta Arenas but if you book early enough you will surely find better options.
