It was awfully packed over the full moon weekend (would not recommend visiting during this period)! This pavilion-like structure at the front Paththirippuwa, or Octagon. It is a symbol of identity in Kandyan Architecture. In the olden days, the king would stand there to address his citizens who were gathered in front of him. The golden roof behind stands over the Buddha tooth relic that this temple is famous for. Ok hotel op een afgelegen plek

Vanaf Kandy naar dit hotel duurt ongeveer 25-30 minuten met de Tuktuk. Het hotel ligt op een mooie rustige plek. We vonden het hotel sprookjesachtig aandoen. Het is een mooi hotel, maar de kamers zijn lawaaierig. Even snel iets doen in bewoond gebied is lastig.

不诚实商家，一次不愉快的入住经历

非常不愉快的一次入住，感觉自己被骗了！我们从未到过这里，所以住宿预定房间通常都是通过网站的照片来辨别住宿的情况，我们是7人同行，预订的房间是美美的，可以容纳7人入住的两层楼的房间，房间装修也是很美的。我们是晚上达到的，位置是在山上，颠簸着达到酒店，到达后服务员把我们带到了酒店另一边非常偏僻的独栋小楼告诉我们我们今晚再这里休息，当场7个人就傻掉了。首先，这里和我们预订时看到的图片完全不一致，其次，显而易见这就像是一间废弃的独栋房间，离酒店有点距离，单独一栋，设施陈旧，完全就像是没有人入住的，我们告诉服务员我们预订的不是这一间，服务员再三强调是这一间，我们告诉他我们要住酒店那边服务员说没有房间已满，听到已满我们有再多要求也无从开头。于是，我们妥协了，正准备放下行李到酒店那边办理入住，谁知就在这几分钟时间发现其中一个朋友被蚂蟥咬了，这样的房间根本没法入住。于是我们一行人来到酒店前台告诉他们我们无法入住，朋友被蚂蟥咬了，最后酒店告诉我们加一点钱换到另一个房间去，当时来不及细想之前服务员说的房间已满的情况，没办法我们加了钱，换到了新的住宿点。终于换到了酒店入住，谁知我们进房间一看，完全就是我们在往上订的房间，和图片上显示一样样的，两层楼，大大的浴池，漂亮的装修...好吧，所以我们是被骗了？？？不知道什么原因，服务员这样操作，说实话确实非常另我们失望，虽然后面加钱住的房间让我们很满意，但这样不诚实的对待，确实让这一次的入住体验非常差劲。希望我的体验可以给大家带来帮助，又或者每个人入住的经历都不一样，也许有好的感受呢？誰知道？

Pool um Mueckemnetze

Sehr schönes altes Gebäude aus Stein. Hatte was von einer alten Burg, die abgelegen in den Bergen liegt. Unser Familienzimmer war riesengroß, über zwei Etagen und mit einem Wirlepool ausgestattet. Leider ist das Hotel nur uber einen sehr schlechten Weg zu erreichen, Geländewagen ist zu empfehlen. Klimaanlagen gibt es auch nicht, dafür aber Mückennetze.
