The hotel has super comfortable, spacious rooms. We stayed on the second floor and beautiful high ceilings. It's very clean. The air conditioning and heat work just fine. Most of the staff, especially the ones who work during the day, are extremely nice and helpful. The hotel has a small, good restaurant on the ground floor. There are no other facilities that I could find. The hotel is at the edge of the Centro Historico, and thus, pretty quiet and safe to walk around at night. There are some good restaurants nearby.

This a small hotel located fairly close to the Zocalo but outside the more touristy areas. It is clean and very comfortable. Most of the staff is very helpful. There is a good cafe attached to the hotel, although the service and food quality has dropped since we were there two years ago. The rooms with a street view are noisy. We recommend the Nuni restaurant around the corner. Very reasonable prices and excellent food.

It was a good experience, with a big, beautiful room just as adviced. The only problem was with the phone line. No matter what I tried, the phone system always cut me off under a "verify your phone line" message. At the counter, the laday acknowledge the issue, but had no solution. I did not bring an auto with me, so I cannot say anaything regarding the parking, but in anyway, it seems a complicated thing, because the hotel has not even a drop-off area in front of it. Better go there by taxy.

The staff was amazingly helpful, being English speaking was a terrific bonus. The room was adorable with outside balconies. They personally greeted me when I arrived. Room was clean and pretty. I would stay here again!

This boutique hotel es a renovated historical building. It is very comfortable and well decorated. The staff is very helpful and the restaurant associated with the hotel has excellent coffee and a great selection of breakfast options and juices.

We loved our stay at Casa Monarca! The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful - always ready to give directions, advice about sites to visit, restaurants, tours and shops or answer any questions we had. They spoke English very well and were happy to help us with our beginning Spanish. They made us feel at home! The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was convenient with a variety of options, friendly staff and great coffee. We extended our stay and returned for a few last days before we left Mexico. We will return as soon as we can!
