As expected...
You get what you expect, cheap but clean. Staff was very friendly.
Filthy, had to wipe the bathroom floor with Clorox. Disgusting... unknown stuff dripping on the wall. Everything you touched was black. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Old I can deal with. Filthy, dirty and disgusting absolutely not. If there were a rating lower than terrible, that's what it would be.
good location. advertise that all rooms have large tubs... but they do not have water hooked up to them.. did not offer to move me to a room w/ a working tub.
It was a last minute decision to take the trip so used hotel.com to find a place when we were about 4 hours away. We arrived a little after 1am and the reservation did not show up on record. I showed the confirmation email to the staff who honored the price. The room had concrete walls, horrible decor and hard beds but considering we were only there for sleep... It worked.
Bed bugs and blood stains. Enough said. When we tried to talk to the hotel they just argued.... Basically called us liars even with photos. I wouldn't pay $5 for this room. Homeless people and people that live at this hotel begging for cigarettes... CLEAN IT UP owners if you want to survive.
Great experience, staff, able to extend stay with no problem.

Would book again, but place is below average
You get what you pay for. I knew coming in that this wasn't the nicest spot but booked it for the convenience of what I needed it for. Got exactly was I was expecting in the room, but with a very friendly staff. Would book again if I needed to be near that location for the same price.
Our bed sheets were stained and had hairs on them. Even though room said non-smoking, ours smelled like smoke. Location not good. Some more repairs in room needs to be done.
Shutters let in to much light to sleep. Lights not working. Temp control loud and inefficient. Beds were big and spacious. Location is fair to university. Diner in front is great.
Arrived at hotel to find people residing there as permanent residence. People lounging about outside. I Refuse to stay at hotel. Not a 2 star... Hotel located in "old" surrounding with security questionable for safety.

Good enough
Infinately superior to Executive Inn and suites or Travelor's Inn. They put effort into it. Clean. Laminate floors, clean, installed over carpet. So dip in floor. Wish they had phone service. Some residents stay longer. Narrow but very Shawn Matulichclean shower. Near Provo temple and NuSkin world headquarters. Plan ahead because BYU home games cause hotels to fill up. Non-smoking.
I arrived to find they overbooked. They sent me to another hotel, which was also full. I returned, they gave me a room, which smelled unpleasant. There were small children running around upstairs until 12:30 am. I strongly recommend NOT staying at this hotel.
Room needed to be upgraded 30 year old TV satellite only worked half the time wifi was almost non-existent could not adjust the water temp in shower really low water pressure beds were rock hard.
We booked this hotel for August 5, 2015. On that same day our travel was cut short due to a wildfire along I-84. The highway was shut down and everyone was turned around. There was no alternate route to Provo from Baker City, Oregon so I called the hotel and explained my situation. The person at the front desk was very rude, and refused to give me a refund because I didn't call early enough in the day. ( I called as soon as we were turned around, hoping to avoid this). She was very rude, hanging up on me when I questioned her reasoning for not refunding my money.
When I enlisted expedia's help. the desk clerk replied that since other travelers from Wyoming had checked in to the hotel, I must've been lying. I was traveling from Washington state, as the expedia employee explained.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The management is unpleasant and unwilling to listen to anything said.
Wood floor is nice. Its pretty quite and convenience location. Close to convention center. Staff is nice and friendly.
The room has a strong smell, not sure what it's. Maybe from the wood floor/painting or someone smoked.
Its old model, the setting off the room is different. Small room.
Overall, thats what the price for. Its a nice choice for saving but not sure if would come back.

Clean and comfortable for the price
The hotel is older, but all the surfaces in the room have been redone except the shower surround. The floor was laminate wood, easy to clean, new bathroom fixtures and nice wall texture and colors. The King size bed was very comfortable. My concern ahead of time was safety, but once there I felt safe, even though the doors are on the outside of the building. One feature you don't see in newer hotel rooms was a DVD player. We could bring our own entertainment. One thing that needed replaced was the bedspread. It was very old, but since I could see all the care going into the remodel, I expect they will get to this oversight soon as well. I will stay there again sometime as it was a good stay for the price.
Upon entering the room, the pillows on the bed looked like they had been slept on. There was no mirror in the bathroom. There was no light in the space where the closet was. The shower temperature was ice cold, then flaming hot....the manual adjusting knob was screwed tight. The shower leaked, the bathtub was filthy with a dirty ring around the tub; the grout in the tile was missing in some areas, the lighting was only on the ceiling, no lamps at the bed side. The table wobbled and there were not enough outlets for the electronics that needed charging. Housekeeping greeted us as we were getting our belongings to the room. The lady was in a leather racing jacket, peering into the room and looked as if she had not bathed in a week. She did not identify herself when she asked how the room was. I was so hesitant to talk to her and advised my spouse to just close the door. Since we had more items in the car to retrieve, my spouse asked the hotel manager if the lady was really housekeeping. The response was "yes, we believe in personal contact and so I sent her up there." I was not impressed with the service.
