We enjoyed our stay. Spacious lounge and conservatory. The owners were very friendly and helpful. When we accidentally lost our room key, they came immediately and sorted it out.
Very easy to find with ample parking. Very good value for money.
Spacious bedroom with en-suite. Great use of the space available: Lounge, Dining room/conservatory and outdoor patio space.
My only niggles were position of the toilet which requires you to sit sideways and no hooks or clothes rail on which to hang clothes.
Continental breakfast is extremely basic.
Nice cosy location which fit my needs. The advert said my room (Single Bed room) came with its own dedicated shower, that was false advertising.
Everything else was nice. Communal areas nice and clean. Great stuff!
What a brilliant find. An old manor house with 5 or 6 rooms & lovely outdoor space. Perfect for a stay in Preston or a stopover down the M6. Rooms are comfy, en suite had no door but was fine (there was a shared bathroom next door so no biggie). Lovely communal breakfast in the morning & you could help yourself all day if you wanted. Felt at home & nice to have so much space. Owner got in touch with all necessary info on arrival day too. Totally recommend, enjoyed our stay.
The booking and entry were straight forward.
The deatails of the Property were not accurate. There were no staff available as described.
The bathroom was clean with good hot water.
However to enter a bedroom where the drapes (swags and tails) and headboard had a clear layer of dust overall was not acceptable.
All needed a good steam clean as did the carpet.
Because we were near the people we were visiting we did stay.
But not with a comfortable feeling.
Other people had left dirty dishes in the sink.
This iscreported as found and intended to be constructive.
The room was lovely however i was a little disappointed that there was no staff and the description on here does not match the reality.
This is a house that has turned rooms into bedrooms. Even the bedroom doors are normal doors with a key lock. Quite surprised as there was no fire doors anywhere.
It is self catering which was not clear. Also there are things that just dont work, like tea and coffee is 24 hours, however to the fill the kettle you need to access the kitchen which states its shut between 9pm and 8am.
Only one of the rooms had an ensuite the rest have a shared bathroom.
I think a little more information on the website should be added so that people are aware before they book.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disappointing for a lovely place to retreat.
Phil responded quickly to getting us booked in out of office hours.
The environment was quiet just what was required and the bed was comfortable. However,
There was a requirement to take off shoes (no provision of slipper or indication on booking to bring your own- floor was cold)
The room was cold with no central heating and a very small portable radiator.
The bathroom had only shampoo and conditioner (no worry brought my own bath wash).
Paid for breakfast but that was a shamble: a few apples, banana maybe clementines still in their bags on the kitchen table, cereal in containers (no indication of dates), few single package Oats, alternative milk but again no indication of when it was first opened, bread and crumpets with something (cant remember) from Mr Kipling again not single wrap so no indication of when first first opened. No herbal teas, I took three bananas and some hot water ( i had some herbal tea) for the two morning breakfast for both of us. No eggs if one wanted to cook some. To top it off (with the requirement to remove shoes, the kitchen floor was visibly not clean.
Truly believe, the offering of breakfast should be removed from advertisement and I should be refunded the monies paid for breakfast.
No photos as we decided not to take any.

We were disappointed that the ‘Continental Breakfast’ was merely standard boxed cereals and sliced bread for toast. Could easily have been improved by fruit, juices and pastries.
A curtain or door to separate the en-suite toilet from the bedroom would have been very welcome!
This has been the worst experience I have ever had. This accommodation was booked two weeks ago, I called a week ago to check about check in, as I was arriving at midnight. Yesterday (day of travel), I had heard nothing, so called to be told he had double booked. When asked, when would I would find this out silence.
When I asked what they were going to do, he informed me they will send me to their sister hotel which I accepted. Two hours later I had heard nothing so I called back, to be told we’re sorting it, one hour later I’ve heard nothing tried to call back. I instantly got checking details for the new place. Three hours later I got a message from the new place telling me that the original place had now got me a room so they were cancelling their booking which I requested they didn’t as I had no faith in Reemdale. Not only will I never book with these again I will not book with their partners cheap days Preston absolute disgrace.
Unfortunately, the room we were given was awkward. Meaning: (a) there was no door, not even a curtain, to the bathroom area; (b) there was no shower gel or a bar of soap for the shower; (c) the shower temperature was extremely temperamental...one second you have decent temp water, then randomly and continuously goes from freezing cold to burning hot in the span of seconds, so it made taking a shower difficult; (d) the water in the standing shower drains very slowly and the drain was dirty; (e) had to open the window to remove the condensation that quickly developed from using the shower as there is no extractor, etc.; (f) there are decent size wardrobes on either side of the bed, but there were no nightstands/bedside tables; (g) the mattress was okay but if you are sharing the bed with your partner, as soon as one of you moves/turns, you end up waking up the other person from the movement; (h) a small space heater was provided, but took a long time to feel comfortably warm in the room; (I) the TV did not work, which wasn't helped by the fact that the aerial/co-axil cable was on the floor on the opposite side of the room; (j) though breakfast was a self service continental breakfast, there was no cereal and no milk for said breakfast. The host's friend, who was"housesitting", got some milk the next day. there is a McDonald's about 2 miles away. Unfortunately, I ended up leaving one of my packing compression bags at the door when I put it down to put my shoes back on.
