If you are going to Praiano you NEED to stay here, these are some of the kindest people you will ever meet. The food was amazing, the rooms are extremely clean, the view is incredible. Cannot say enough about the generosity of the staff there. Will be returning here.

This hotel is just amazing and one of the most memorable hotels I stayed in. Amazing location with super clean and beautiful rooms with private views of the Amalfi coast. The breakfast is superb and staff are very friendly and helpful. When I go back to Amalfi, I will reserve this hotel before booking my flight.

We spent our 10 year anniversary at B&B La Barbera and had an amazing time. The only thing better than the views are the wonderful staff that work there. A real gem!

The most amazing stay! From the moment we arrived we were personally welcomed by one of the owners, Roberto with drinks, munchies and Prosecco! The other owner Francesco also made sure we were always looked after and taken care of. The scenery is breathtaking and the hotel is beautiful! The details and tiling incredible. This is not your ordinary bnb. Breakfast is a delicious feast and the staff so friendly. Sylvia really made our stay by looking after us and providing a wealth of information about the area, hiking trails, tours and restaurants. This little town has all the beauty and charm of Positano without the noise and busyness. In fact, we were reluctant to do a review and let this secret out! We loved our stay so much and would love to return!

Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with a stay at B&B La Barbera was just perfect. Sylvia was the best hostess. Answering any questions, helping with dinner recommendations, whatever we needed she was there for us. What a beautiful pleasant person. From the Prosecco on our arrival to the thoughtful gift on our departure, our stay at La Barbera simply couldn’t have been better. Silvia, Roberto, Francesco and the rest of the team constantly went out of their way to ensure that my wife and I had the best possible experience. The hotel (I know it’s technically a B&B, but it was so much more than that) is located high above the village of Praiano, with a spectacular view from each of the five rooms along the Amalfi coast past Positano and all the way to Capri. The hotel itself is cleverly designed and was spotlessly clean throughout, and our room was amazing, with a massage shower and a hot tub (an unexpected bonus!) just two of the many luxury touches. Breakfast, served al fresco on the terrace, was one of the highlights of each day and was an experience that will live long in our memories. Another of the highlights was dining at a number of the local restaurants and cafes (recommended by Francesco), all of which were excellent, both in terms of the quality of the food and drink and the friendly and efficient customer service. In summary, La Barbera was one of the best - if not the best - hotel that we have stayed in, and we both had a wonderful time. If you’re thinking about making a booking, do it - you won’t be disappointed!

We travelled throughout Italy, and stayed at multiple places. La Barbera was by far the best place we have stayed and personally the best place I had ever stayed. First off, the staff was attentive and were willing to do anything to help you with whatever you needed. Whether is was information, transportation, recommendations, they were helpful. The breakfast in the morning with a beautiful view daily was amazing. The rooms are beautiful, top-notch cleanliness, and a beautiful outside porch with a hottub. The shower was updated and had great water pressure as well. This is the perfect place between Positano and Amalfi to sleep and relax away from the craziness. Perfect place to stay and if you choose to visit Positano or Amalfi for the day, they will tell you which bus to take or order you a taxi for a 30 minute ride to each town. Best B&B and best staff, Silvia, Roberto, Francesco were all the perfect hosts at the perfect location and perfect room!
