"The hotel is a bit dated to some but that’s what keeps the city rif raff away. Hikers and outdoor enthusiasts stay here so be prepared to use the grounds and stay outside most of the time. When you finally do crash inside you will find very comfortable beds, amazing views and complimentary water. Internet was good. Main Inn restaurant food was delicious. Catering food fantastic. Shared areas with fireplaces were perfect. No elevator but only 2 floors. "

"Room was clean, however a few things to note - Furniture is a little dated and due for update. Tub was fine although it needs to be slip proofed for those of us who are seniors and need to be extra careful about falls ( definitely a potential liability issue for hotel). Breakfast was good and water view was a bonus. Overall, it was a charming place ( albeit older), off the beaten path of hotel row along Route 9 in Poughkeepsie."

"Not a bad motel if you can get a room at a decent price. Room was fairly spacious and clean. Bathroom is a bit small but the room makes up for it. I particularly liked that housekeeping respected your privacy sign if you didn't want or need them for anything. Front desk was very friendly and easy to check in/out. They serve breakfast each morning. On the downside, the noise level echoes tremendously whether it's doors closing, people walking, or people playing loud music. Reminder, this is located on a highway, so construction on the road near the hotel was loud and was a distruption.*(This of course cannot be helped and not the fault of the hotel itself). However, if you are simply looking for a motel to just lay your head down, not expecting a glamorous room or service, and find a decent price per night, this is a start. If you want more peace and quiet after a long days travel, I'm not sure if this would satisfy your needs. Nonetheless, It's a solid 3 1/2 ⭐⭐⭐ stars!"
