Positano is not known for modern style accomodations, but this place was the exception! Our room was spacious and the bed was big and comfy! We loved having the jacuzzi and kitchen. It’s in a great location as well. A gem in positano!

Great apartment in Upper Positano. Really lovely interiors, very quiet and peaceful in a busy town! Steep walk down into town but doable and lovely views!

This was a lovely hotel with a stunning partial ocean view. It’s right in front of the bus stop, which was very convenient because it’s pretty far to the city center. In addition to the bus stop convenience, there was an awesome local bar, grocery store & convenient store 10 feet from the front door. I will say, we booked this for my adult family of five and it was a little tight, so I would recommend booking an additional room if you have a big family or group you’re traveling with. I left a 5-star review because the place was beautiful and clean, but would have loved a little more help throughout our stay as far as new towels, more toilet paper, and getting the hot tub running (which is very minute in the scheme of things). They were very quick at responding to messages and the ladies running Villa Fortuna are lovely.

Day trip to Positano

We decided to drive down from Rome to Positano and found Villa Fortuna on Hotels.com last minute on Nov 20. It is off season, so we were happy to find this room. It turned out to be a great decision. The room was big and spacious, very clean, nice bathroom with supplies. Had 2 balconies with views. The host, Diana, was able to manage everything remotely with us being the only guest. She was very responsive and accommodating. It is located at the top of the hill, but the bus pickup is right out the door. Bought bus tickets in the shop next door (Need Euros) and the schedule for pick up and return from downtown Positano was easy. Enjoyed a coffee in the AM with fantastic view. Highly recommend Villa Fortuna!

Recomendable, muy lindo y muy buena vista!

Muy lindo lugar, ubicado arriba de la Montaña con una vista a Positano muy linda. Se puede caminar por la zona, hay algunos restoranes cerca, linda experiencia. La habitación amplia, muy bien mantenida. Recomiendo.
