Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, marvellous staff and an unbeatable location right next to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The breakfast was good, reasonably priced and conveniently saved extra time for exploring. My only regret was not staying longer.

The closest hotel to the Historic Dockyards, literally across the street. Short walking distance to train and bus stations. Great pubs, restaurants and shopping nearby. Hotel breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Lots of hot items and chef on site. Staff very nice and helpful. They provided us will all the adapters for our US electronics and electrical current. Room A/C was great!

This hotel was in a great location for all we wanted to see while in Portsmouth. The coach and rail are both walkable and the Victory and other museums were closeby. The Gunwharf Quays are within walking distance too for shopping and food. The hotel was okay for the price. Our room wasn't the cleanest and there was mold in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet left much to be desired but maybe would have been better if we were there for the start of it. The staff were very friendly and overall the stay was good!

If you are interested in the Victory or the Mary Rose it is right across the street. Super great. Parking down the street was easy but prefer not to have to do it. But if you have to remote park, it wasn't a big deal. It was pretty easy.

The hotel is in a good location to visit the naval dockyard. We had couple of conformable night there. The included continental breakfast was sufficient to start the day. We used public transportation.

The hotel was great the air conditioning could not cool the room off enough for our liking during the heat dome we experienced. The breakfast was very nice the restaurant was imho over priced for what you got and the younger staff could have smiled and been a little friendlier.

Great location right next to the dockyard. Rooms are dated and worn down. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a while. The bathroom floors were only barely dusted. They hadn't been mopped either. The plates at breakfast were dirty. My husband didn't even eat.

In the elevator of this hotel is a big sign requesting a five star review, however no one at this establishment puts any effort into Five Star service. Upon checking in the reception did not advise us that the restaurant was open for dinner or that breakfast was available. We were not told that our room included a free upgraded WiFi. When we entered the room we discovered that the hand soap was empty. Later when we went to shower we found that the shower soap was also empty and that we only had one hand towel instead of two. At breakfast the staff barely acknowledged our presence and had an attitude of indifference. The hotel is located a short distance from the Historic Dock Yards, the Gunwharf Outlet Mall, the train station and bus service.

Acceptable cleanliness. But I was surprised that the hotel does not provide shampoo and conditioner. Only body wash. Even a Motel 6 provides you with shampoo/conditioner.

We were allocated a disabled room. We booked a standard room 3 months prior, but this was all that was available. We felt uncomfortable because the room was set up for people with disabilities. It had a low bed, low sink, a seat attached in the shower, loads of safety hand holds and alarm cords everywhere in case of emergency. We felt like we were in a hospital and did not feel like we were in a nice hotel. It was very disappointing and we did not enjoy it.
Our bathroom felt like we were in a hospital.
