The room was exceptional! The location of the hotel was great, close to a bus stop and walking distance from the wine cellars. The pool was accessible upon reservation, but we always managed to get a slot. Breakfast timings were also subject to availability, so make sure to book a table for the time you would like before hand (even if your booking includes breakfast).

A very nice hotel. It is situated opposite the old town of Porto and offers some amazing views. We stayed there with two kids and had a huge room. Staff were very friendlly and helped with restaurant reservations etc. Will certainly come back.

Wonderful and knowledgeable staff. The view looking back across the Douro River at historic Porto and the bridge was amazing both day and night. Hugo and Roger were excellent ambassadors at the front desk.

An outstanding hotel. Room was perfect, spacious and comfortable. All the staff were excellent and the service was impeccable. The breakfast range was extensive and all really tasty. Our suite was very comfortable for 3 of us. Plenty of room. Very quiet and private. We liked the upstairs lounge area. The staff were really helpful and nothing too much trouble. I loved the Claus Porto toiletries. The food in the hotel restaurant, Pot and Pan is fantastic. Fine dining at very fair prices. I would love to come back to this stylish haven.
