Location was great - very walkable! Friendly staff and breakfast was included which was wonderful. Included coffee, tea, water, orange juice, pastries, buns with ham and cheese, yogurt, etcā€¦ Rooms were clean and they had quite powerful A/C. However, there was a mildew smell in the rooms (probably from the A/C). Pillows were great but the beds were pretty firm. They also have an elevator which is great if you have large luggage. My only note is that there was lots of noice in the very early hours in the morning. Thin walls, so the sound travels from other rooms and itā€™s near a main road so we heard a lot of loud noises from motorcycles and vehicles. Other than that we had a wonderful stay!

The 2 different Receptionist were very amiable. The Cleaner, was also helpful in getting my TV to work. The Shower not so good, as the water did not go down until Iā€™d finished & was out of the cubicle. I therefore had to shower in a tray full of soapy, used, water. Which isnā€™t very nice. I did report this. But obviously this was as I was leaving ( I was only there the 1night.)

Convenient to the metro station. Breakfast buffet was great, except a little late in starting. Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. My room was rather spartan, with a bathroom, albeit private, outside the room with a separate hall entrance. The toilet didn't work great. The room was a bit noisy.

Unterkunft Bonfim
