"Room clean and tidy, amazing shower makes up for small bathroom! Bed comfy, had nice balcony area but weather wasn’t kind to us to be able to use it!"

"I used to always stay at this hotel a few years ago and always loved it bc of its location and its retro shabby chic vibe. Since, however, it’s only gotten shabby and kind of gross and run down. Now the vibe is halfway house, with dirty and mouldy bathrooms, really old mattresses that make you itchy and just dusty and old items. The TV wasn’t a a smart one and only offered local channels, etc. The owners should update the rooms and at least buy newer furniture. The only saving grace is the staff, they are lovely and helpful. The front desk staff and handy person were the best part of my stay there. "

"The floor was dirty, there was excessive dash, and the dash was visible in the air. I was afraid that things would get worse, so I didn't want to turn on the air conditioner. Although most of the staff was friendly, some weren't. It was a passable breakfast."

"Enjoyed our stay. I’m was neat tidy and clean - 2 bedroom is a good size not too cramped.. parking was easy. Very short distance to the beach walking "

"In no world is this a 5 star hotel. It was a bit run down and cleanliness could definitely be improved. I would have been ok with it as-is as a 3 star hotel, but with the expectation of 5 stars, it was disappointing. "
