This home-styled space, tucked away on quiet Yakoun Street in the heart of Port Clements, is thoughtfully designed and self-contained, located above the garage, offering guests full private access for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Ideal for anyone seeking a peaceful, home-like getaway, it’s centrally located with easy access to both the north and south ends of Haida Gwaii. Just minutes from scenic trails, village shops, and the water, Yakoun Loft is the perfect base to explore the island’s rich culture and breathtaking natural beauty.

The loft features a restful, cozy sleeping area and a welcoming living room with a futon (which can double as extra bedding). Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and a TV with Netflix, Roku and others for your entertainment. The private bathroom includes a hair dryer, bath essentials, and the added convenience of an in-suite washer and dryer.

The kitchenette is equipped with the basics for simple meal preparation — including a mini fridge, microwave, electric stove, kettle, toaster oven and a coffee maker-perfect for starting your mornings right. Dishware and utensils are provided to make your stay convenient.

The loft is within easy walking distance — just 2 to 5 minutes on foot — from Axe & Anchor Pub, Buck Snort Bakery, Bayview Market, the beach, and scenic trails.
It’s also just a 2 to 3 minute drive to Fork in Port and Angela's Place Social Cafe and Fuel Station.

Guest Access:
While the loft is located on the same property as our main house, it’s fully self-contained with its own private entrance up 12 steps. You’ll have the entire space to yourself, including your own entrance and designated guest parking.

We value a peaceful, quiet environment, so you can expect a calm and restful stay—with full privacy throughout.

Note:
Maximum guest total is 3. However young families are welcome. If you’re bringing children, just message us — we’re happy to see if the space can work for your family and adjust the booking if needed.
