Port Arthur 5-Star Delight

Very nice hotel, room was clean, bed comfortable. Overnight stay was wonderful. Slept great. Continental breakfast was pretty good, too.

The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was not good so we didn't eat there after the first day. They didn't provide room maintenance until the end of the 2nd day. Seemed overpriced and had a very small tv in the room as well.

A nice hotel

This is a nice hotel and hooray for free parking which should be the norm. Our room was nice, the AC worked well, and the complimentary breakfast was good standard fare. Being a light sleeper, the highway noise was a bit loud for me. Access is good and restaurants are nearby.

The desk staff, sorry, I do not know his name, was very kind, great customer service, answered all my questions, had my room, and reservation ready when I arrived. The room was clean and housekeeper staff helpful and kind. The breakfast was good with many choices. Would stay here again.

The hotel is in a great area for dining /shopping and is right on the highway. There is a little road noise but that’s to be expected. It’s clean and staff is very friendly. The room is nice, looks like it was recently renovated. The only issue is that they were repainting the outside so limited parking but that’s a temporary problem.

Had to switch rooms after check-in because front desk called and asked me to. They had shampooed the carpet earlier that day and were worried it wasn't dry yet. No biggie. Room was clean and comfortable EXCEPT for bathroom. Holes in walls, loose toilet paper holder, and worst of all: glass shower door would NOT stay shut during my shower. This was obviously a problem for multiple guests because you could see water damage on the wall/wallpaper near the floor. Annoying problem.

Mahan was outstanding in handling an issue we had with our room. Dispute full occupancy, she was able to get our room changed to the other side of the building in less than 20 minutes, making our weekend stay perfect.
