"We had an amazing stay! The hotel staff were extremely friendly and attentive. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. The rooms are very spacious, well-equipped, and have comfortable beds. Great location! There are plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Hotel parking can be tricky, but we had no trouble finding street parking close by, so it wasn't an issue for us. We also enjoyed the indoor pool at their sister hotel's spa; it was lovely and a great experience for the whole family."

"Loved the location, enjoyed the large garden rooms, breakfast was abundant and amenities were good. Parking is available on hotel grounds. The lobby needs an update to match the rest of the hotel. The room service menu could do with better options other than sandwiches. "

"lovely hotel with great views, pool etc I only have two complaints - the dinner buffet in the main dining room was just so-so. The other complaint is that I called an Uber for an early morning flight and the driveway is only a oneway no place for a car to turn around - I would have had to drag a heavy suitcase up an incline to meet the driver on the street, luckily it was very early & the driver backed all the way out of the driveway."

"The hotel is a solid offering for a good priced all inclusive. Serve your own drinks around the pool during the day. Constant snack bar. Great pizza. Yes, it’s focused more on the saga holiday demographic but in our 40’s, no kids, we don’t want roudy anyway! It’s perfectly located to walk into Funchal, have meals out when you want the variety etc. The negatives: Unfortunately my pyjamas went missing with the laundry, having been left on top of the sheets. Nothing in the hotel laundry, nothing in the contract laundry. They can’t just disappear! The pool was freezing - nice for actual swimming but too cold just to chill in. Dinner - if you go in after about 8pm, the nice salads (prawns / cold meat) had gone and were not replaced. We specifically checked what was on offer one evening and decided to stay in the hotel because of the offering but because we like a late dinner (we’re younger than the typical demographic of the hotel) the nicer stuff had gone. A real shame as we’d have eaten out by that time in the holiday. The menu in the à la carte restaurants could when been more varied - but we didn’t eat in them."
