We were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of our room for a lodging that's a bit older. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful, and we were quite happy to have found such a welcoming place for our quick stopover. We ate dinner at Mel's Hilltop Restaurant, which was surprisingly excellent (surprising only because we expected more diner-type food, but their choices were not only varied and enticing, but absolutely beautifully presented and done. Their smashburger was outstanding, as were the sweet potato fries they served with it. Because of the season (longest day of the year - cold), we were about the only ones there other than the maintenance crew, but everyone was so friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay with them again if the opportunity arises!

First stay this past weekend

Our stay was amazing. The staff was so friendly and courteous. The grounds were very clean and well laid out. The hotel was a little dated but it’s a vintage style retreat and was clean and comfy. We even got to see a cover band sat night that was a real good time !

If you think of the movie dirty dancing, you’ll imagine a fun family resort in the Adirondacks during the 1960s. The Poland spring resort is channeling that energy. Staff was great. The resort was cute. Beds were very comfortable. I would absolutely stay again.

The staff at Poland Spring Resort were pleasant and Mel’s Hilltop Restaurant was a great value with a beautiful view of the golf course. We really enjoyed our burgers, fries & local beer selection.
