Desir de Mer is a beautiful house. Francoise gave us a warm welcome and provided us with lots of interesting information and good recommendations for restaurants, gardens and sightseeings. From the beach, which is not far away, you can take beautiful walks on the GR34. The house and the area are definitely worth a visit.

We had a very pleasant stay at the house - it is cosy and comfortable, very well equipped with anything you need. The location is perfect, short walk to the beach and access to the hiking trails. Francoise, the landlord, gave us some helpful tips on what to do and where to go. Overall, a definite recommendation!

Excellent

we had a very relaxing and pleasant stay in this beautiful house. Françoise gave us a heartly welcome and wonderful recomandations about the surrounding. There is a lot to see but it is also a perfect place to enjoy nature by exploring the „sentier douaniers“ which leads you along the coast right and left of the bay of Launay. The beach is close - just grab a towel and have a swim. We felt in love with the Bretagne - Thank you so much, merçi Françoise

Well presented but with expensive cash 'caution'

The property was well presented and situated as advertised with a lovely garden. Before we arrived but after we had paid the full rental and could not cancel without forfeit we were requested to sign a 2 page contract written in French, not our first language. It stated that we agreed to a very large cash deposit against any future costs, electric, breakages, etc. We spoke to Nermean at Vrbo for a complete translation, which they could not provide. We told them that we would not be signing any contract in French only, nor would we carry a large amount of cash to and from France as a 'caution'. This was far more than we had ever been requested to pay before in our many years of travelling to France. On arrival, Mme reluctantly agreed that a much smaller amount of cash was acceptable. This unfortunate discussion was embarrassing to us and should not have been necessary. While our stay was fine, we are very dissatisfied with the way that Vrbo handled this matter.

Maison très agréable et très bien située. 2 bémols cependant. Le jardin nest pas entièrement clos ce qui peut être problématique avec un chien. L annonce de Abritel mentionne vue mer ou vue sur l océan ce qui est faux.

Wunderhübsches kleines Haus mit viel Platz, Garten und toller Lage in unmittelbarer Nähe des Meeres. Sehr ruhig und gepflegt. Zur Anlegestelle für die Insel Brehat kann man zu Fuß in ca. 25 Minuten über den küstenpfad gehen, dadurch spart man sich Parkplatzsuche und-gebühr. Ploubazlanec ist ein netter kleiner Ort mit zwei Bäckereien, einer sensationellen boucherie und einem wunderbaren Markt am Sonntag vormittag. Nach Paimpol mit dem kleinen Hafen sind es nur ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Es gibt in der näheren Umgebung viele sehenswerte Ziele. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Vermieterin hatte gute Tipps und war bei Problemen schnell erreichbar. Fazit: uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Agréable séjour très bonne situation proche de la mer, conforme à nos attentes en terme d'équipement même si toutefois nous devons déplorer la vétusté du mobilier de jardin ainsi que les problèmes d'égouttage de la douche.

Là où tout est calme et beauté

J'ai passé un excellent séjour ; la location est très agréable avec un magnifique jardin. Tout est parfait : calme apaisant, accueil chaleureux, location lumineuse, spacieuse et joliment décorée où il ne manque rien. Tout a été pensé dans les détails et on se sent très vite chez soi. La région est jolie et intéressante avec de multiples excursions pédestres ou autres. A conseiller très vivement. Merci Françoise pour cet agréable semaine ressourçante !

Maison simple mais bien équipée.beau jardin agréable qui doit être super l’été ! Gasiniere un peu ancienne et légèrement défaillante,poêles en état moyen ( mettre de l’inox plus solide et moins polluant…)

Propriété bien entretenue, bien située qui nous a permis de faire de nombreuses balades en partant de la maison. La maison est bien équipée pour une famille de 4 personnes. Nous disposions de tout le nécessaire de cuisine.

Maison familiale décorée avec attention. Cuisine avec tout ce qu'il faut comme matériel.

Endroit super bien situé. On peut laisser la voiture et faire énormément à pied. Le GR qui longe la côte est varié et vraiment adaptable pour les possibilités de chacun. Une plage de galet tranquille est accessible à 300m de la maison. On a beaucoup, aimé l'île de Bréhat ... peu de monde car nous avons pris le 1er bateau, Paimpol, le bateau à Lézardrieux, Le château de La Roche Jagu et ses superbes jardins. Nous avons passé une chouette semaine et avons bien profité des conseils et de la documentation fournis par Françoise. Merci à elle.

Schöner Urlaub in herrlicher Umgebung

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt. Nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin. Leider gab es die schönen im Inserat abgebildeten Terrassenmöbel gar nicht, stattdessen standen dort vier verrostete Stühle und ein kleiner verrosteter Tisch.

Das Haus und Grundstück war ok

Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, nur der Strand war nur ein kies Strand für Sandstrand mussten wir ca 4 Kilometer fahren. Deutsches Fernsehen gab es nur bedingt.

très agréable

Le gîte est très agréable. Au calme. La cuisine très vitrée donne une vue lumineuse sur le jardin ( magnifique camélia fleuri lors de notre séjour ). l'accueil, les infos données par Françoise nous ont bien aidés à la découverte de la région. La situation est idéale, à quelques minutes de la plage, entre Paimpol et l'embarcadère vers l'île de Bréhat. Partir nous a été difficile. Location, région vivement conseillées.

een heel fijn huisje, op 5 minuutjes stappen van een leuk, kindvriendelijk en rustig strand. Leuke wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt (je bent direct op de GR), kwartier wandelen naar de overzet voor het eiland van Brehat. Bakker op wandelafstand. Het huisje zelf is heel comfortabel, van alle gemakken voorzien, supergoede bedden, het voelde als thuis. Ook de tuin is heel fijn. Het is er superrustig. Françoise is een heel lieve en vriendelijke gastvrouw. Bedankt!

Semaine bretonne

Malgré une météo maussade, avons apprécié notre semaine dans cette charmante location décorée avec goût et où rien ne manquait. La plage juste à côté est un plus. Merci à Francoise pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

Très bon séjour

Maison agréable, propre, pratique et décorée de façon chaleureuse, bien située. Donc super séjour. Pour ce qui est des (rares) défauts : La chambre de l'étage est basse de plafond mais ça n'a pas posé de problème avec nos enfants de 5 et 8 ans. L'escalier aurait posé problème avec des enfants plus jeunes (18 mois ou 3 ans par exemple) car il est raide avec des marches à claire voie L'électricité n'est pas inclue (environ 45 euros pour une semaine en avril). Merci !
