Not a family hotel

At Check-In they could not find our reservation. We waited about 30 minutes for them to find it. The cable did not work and we were not given the Wifi code. The overall room was dirty especially the sheets and towels. On our second night we got to our room really late and our key did not work. The office was closed and we waited awhile till some one came in to re-activate our room key. Will never return to this place on my next visit.

Health hazard

Have to call to check in so they can meet you to sign in. Very friendly. As soon as we opened the door, all you could smell is mold and mildew (I'm severely allergic to any mold, mildew, fungals) like it was being purposely grown. Didn't see any of the culprits until we looked at the mini split AC. Looked like it hasn't been cleaned (serviced professionally in years. The mildew was eroding the back paint on the inside of the vents. Having worked at our family AC business and the staff leaving, I pulled the front off and was in disbelief on how filthy and moldy the coils were. Not to mention halfway rotted due to somebody cleaning it with a acid cleaner and not rinsing the unit out. Upon further inspection, painted over water damage on the walls, shower head wasn't secure at the wall and water runs down it, the cracks in the tub were siliconed and could see through. Friends had checked in the following day and gotten sick from the similar problems in their room. So I can only speculate the whole place is mold infested. After a 2 night stay, I'm having to go to the ER from the exposure.

No one at the office when we arrived. It took at least 25 minutes to get our key even though we had reservations. Tried calling, left messages, texts and did get one response all weekend. We had no wifi password and the Dish satellite was not working. Had no chairs or recliner to sit on. The only thing working was the air conditioner. Will not ever stay there again or recommend it to anyone. Very frustrated.

Poteet Strawberry Festival

Rooms were clean. Check in after 8:00 pm not advised. No one in lobby after 8:00 pm. Took 30 to 35 minutes to get someone to come to the lobby and complete check in.
