The property is stunning. There's so much greenery. It is a big property but the shuttle carts were quite helpful! The food at this property is good! Especially the French toast! We actually liked that the restaurants were combined. You could mix & match cuisines! Arezzo was a favourite. The tuna cutting and the bbq at the beach were exceptional! We stayed at villa 15 and it was so convenient to have a pool and a bar right there. Our one bedroom suite was huge! The bed was good! Bathroom and showers were standard and clean. Our AC was exceptional. There were times we had to turn it down because it got too cold! The guys that do all the games at the Energy pool were all amazing! And the hostess/host at the restaurants were very nice as well. We barely went into the ocean because the sargassum was so bad but that's uncontrollable. They also continued on with the nightly entertainment rain or shine which was nice. We didn't get hounded or felt like because we weren't members that we were subpar. The Macrame class is also a must do. The teachers were amazing!

We had a great stay at The Fives Beach Hotel & Residences. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire resort was very clean and well maintained. The lush landscaping gives the property a beautiful tropical feel. One of the highlights was the nightly entertainment and food stations in the plaza, which created a fun atmosphere and offered a nice taste of Mexican culture. A couple of minor downsides were the wait times for the à la carte restaurants during busy hours and the lack of a disco or late-night spot for younger guests who might want more nightlife. The sargassum (though uncontrollable) on the beach was disappointing as well. Overall, a wonderful resort with great service and a relaxing, cultural vibe.
