Parking was awesome and the staff was friendly. The room itself was horrible, bed sheet had a cigarette burn and after pulling it off there was stuff between the mattress pad and the bed. Had a 3 night stay and happy I only stayed one and primarily used for parking. Definitely use the Red Roof by the airport in Pittsburgh. First and last stay.

Check in went smooth and the lobby looked clean and inviting. Once we headed up to our room, we noticed the hall floors were very dirty. In our room, the mattresses were filthy, the bathroom door didn’t latch shut, the closet door didn’t latch shut and many of the drawers didn’t close properly. The room had an odor, especially the film over the mirror. The ac was also filthy.

When I checked in, the desk person said there was no tv even though the ad said the room had one. The bathroom mirror was broken in many places with shards of glass taped in place. The mirror itself was barely on the wall. The bed had what seemed to be blood stains next to the pillows and a different bodily fluid near the bottom of the bed. I checked out after twenty minutes and asked for a refund. He told me to reach out to hotels.com for that. I will say though that the man at the desk was kind and understanding and helpful.

Everything I needed

The initial room had no chair in it, but the receptionist at the desk changed my room, and I had no further issues. I had a good computer chair, a comfortable bed, and quiet air conditioning. Plenty of space to store clothes too. I was particularly happy about the bathroom. The shower was well lit, had a good shower head, and the water stayed a consistent temperature. I also got a quiet room, away from any noisy washing machines, but still close to the elevator. The hotel is 6 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, so it's cheap and quiet. All told, I was very pleased by the hotel.

Great Stay

I had a great stay. Room was clean and update. Location is good 10 minute bus ride to downtown. The halls ways of hotel need to be paint and carpet needs to be replaced.

A little tricky to find, as it is right by a couple other hotels and the GPS might not pick it up well. Much of the parking is on a slope, and the flatter parking areas fill up quickly. Your are obstructed by turning left onto the property if you coming on McKnight road that direction, so you either have to drive a couple miles past it and then turn nack, or your GPS will take you on to some very narrow, windy, easily missed side streets in order to bring you to a point where you can turn left onto McKnight to get right by the hotel. It is clean and very nice price. Also, if you are a church person and there on a Sunday, there is a large evangelical church within a block, basically right on connected properties you can easily walk to.
