It is a nice place to stay. We where pleased with the accommodations. We visited family in Pierre, only needed a place to sleep. Had breakfast one morning, is was good. It was in the end of December and was off season. We will stay again!

The drive here was really pretty. The lady at the was working the bar and desk was nice. My room is really cozy as well. I like the privacy too, feels nice to be out in nature. Also affordable 👌

We arrived late at night and left early in the morning. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, plenty of hot water, we have no complaints. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the location and the cafe as we were just a short overnight stay. We would stay again.

If you want a get-away cabin, then this is the place for you. Very nice, clean cabin in a quiet area. The phone/Dish TV reception is not very good. Phone had one bar and couldn’t get anything on the Dish system. Come for relaxation and not video entertainment!

Terrible check in but owner made it right

When we showed up to check in, the reservation was not on their system. The owner or manager was not on sight so we had to wait for 1 hour for our cabin. The owner did show up and was very apologetic about it. He did get a cabin ready for us but it hadn’t been ready for us. I don’t think we will be using Hotels.com to book with them again.

Called and let us know they had overbooked before we arrived. Sent us gps location and door code to another property a few miles away kindly offered us complimentary beverage at their bar. Can’t really review the cabin since it was not their property. Customer service was excellent! Bar was convenient and restaurant food was tasty. Thank you to Michelle. Regarding the place they sent us to. Shower was nice but beds were really bad. Only full size so feet hanging off. Plus plastic mattress covers that made a lot of noise if you moved around. Would not recommend Spring Creek resort.

Not perfect, but nice

Overall, my son and I enjoyed our stay. What I liked: 1. The price was right. 2. The condition of the cabin was good. 3. We arrived late and I didn't know where the cabin was, the check in staff drove the golf cart to take me to the cabin. What could see some improvement: 1. I never booked a cabin and was not sure about a lot of things, but the reservation line was never answered. 2. Make sure you pack your own cooking supplies including pans, pots, etc. 3. I was confused with the 10 am check out time sent to me by hotels.com. The actual check out time was 11. 4. There's a small refrigerator, but it was not cold.

The price was right, but it was essentially a hunting shack with very little else. I would not recommend for solo female travelers. It is about a 20 minute drive outside of Pierre. It's a good deal, but it's essentially a bed and a shower.
