Disliked: Staff & service
There was a mistake in my booking. I was suposed to go there on the 8th of February (NOT JANUARY). I emailed the Hotel asking to correct the mistake....but never got a reply.
Was pleasantly surprised. Our cottage was very cute, the bed was super comfortable and our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Tom makes the most delicious scrambled eggs for breakfast. Not too far from town but initially it was a little difficult to find. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in St Maarten.
I was charged for 2 nights in jan , i was going there 17 dec and 18 only . I never used expedia before , if u can refund for 2 nights bunkbeds, would be great .

Good backpacker hostel
It's a really good backpacker hostel. Good and personal service, they will help you with everything. 30-40 minutes walk to Phillipsburg. Phillipsburg to Vickys keys is up hill. Ask them for pick up service from the airport in advance.
The owners are really nice and helpful. The room was very simple and clean. There is a sense of security with having the lockers in the room. It’s definitely worth staying there for the price. The only issue is that it was difficult to get to as my taxi driver did not know where it was located. Also, the surrounding of the hostel aren’t great either and you need to travel a bit to get to a beach. Having a rental car is reccomended.
Chambre de 7m2 à 66 dollars. Une seule lampe avec laquelle il était impossible de lire une carte. Endroit très negligé, finitions ni fait ni à faire aucune indication même sur place. Le pire que j'ai vécu.
We drove by the actual site twice, because we really didn't expect to find it in the area we were in. The island has been so devastated by the recent storms, it was difficult to tell which places were habitable. But the people were absolutely so welcoming, so kind, and so gracious, it was a once in a lifetime experience that I'm so grateful for! The room is so comfortable, the breakfast was so perfect, I wish we could have stayed longer. If you are looking for a resort, this is not it. But if you want to stay with the local people, and escape the resorts (which are pretty much shuttered), this is a wonderful place. They will always be in my heart!
Very clean and neat! Only a few miles from Philips
This was our first experience with a hostel and it was very pleasant!
The owner and managers were very helpful... eager to make sure our stay was nice.
Very pleasant locals... one lady stopped to ask if we needed help, drove us to a restaurant, and got a friend to “look out” for us, and his friend ended up driving us back to Vicky’s!
I liked my managers, I liked the hostel, loved the culture and positivity of St Maarten people and food are fantastic. The beaches are great and my favorite was Mullet Bay Beach. For sure I am going back just need to save money first!
Thank you Cee, Marike and Tom 🙏🙏🙏
Many blessings,

You'll pay for what you get! Erg basic en kleine kamer. Maar wel schoon en dat uw het belangrijkste. Fijn dat er airconditioning ie want zonder is het er niet uit te houden. Aardig en behulpzaam personeel.
Cee, the owner was a great host and does a great job on the upkeep of the property and is very knowledgeable of his island. Everything was clean and in order especially for a hostel. The rooms were clean and had AC With 4 beds per room with lockers and equipped with a private bathroom for the 4 of you. The wifi worked great no matter if you were in the lobby or on the roof watching the sunset. The location is safe and not too far from beaches and attractions. The temp permanent people that inhabit/work the facility are a wonderfully and colorful diverse group of individuals who'll share their food, life lessons and experiences with you and entertain you well into the evening. I didn't get to try the food but I'm sure he wouldn't steer you wrong. I would recommend bringing some mosquito repellant however and there is no hot water in the shower, but it's so warm on the island you won't notice. I recommend renting a car mostly because it's St.Maarten and is worth exploring. Whenever I come back to St.Maarten I will definitely make plans to return to Vicki's Keys thanks again Cee!
