First stay was excellent helpful courteous desk agent spacious and clean room, very comfortable and welcome home feeling. Second stay upon check I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade second floor over looking the pool and garden area the expirence was marvelous. Thank you L esperance.

Always a pleasure

Always nice to stay here, Have been staying here for conference weekends for the past 10 years. Staff always gets us what we need and rooms are well equipped for cooking and hanging out after a long day.

Very decent for the price but in a residential area and not very convenient to restaurants within walking distance. No coffee/tea or any snacks of any kind. The market nearby had limited provisions for single use. No elevator, but reception was helpful getting my big suitcase up the stairs to 2nd level. Big one- bedroom suite. AC in bedroom struggled to cool living room.

Great pre/post Cruise hotel

The hotel was great. Pool was much appreciated. Great local breakfast place within a 2 minute walk and full service, great food restaurant within 7 minute walk, however no sidewalks and sometimes lots of traffic on road to restaurants. Hotel was clean, well kept and staff very friendly and helpful in arranging tours of the island. You can walk to Divi Beach, but not pleasant - too hot and again no sidewalks and takes more than 20 minutes to get there if you don’t take a wrong turn in the roundabout! But for the price, L’Esperance was well worth it especially pre or post cruise, where you will be doing all your beach lounging at your island destinations.

A Very nice stay

We really enjoyed our stay for a night before a cruise. Service was excellent and the staff even picked us up at the airport. So very nice - bed extremely comfortable, a nice kitchenette. A lovely pool! We will definitely return the next time we are in St. Maarten.

We liked the proximity to be able to buy some groceries, as well as to be able to walk (8 min) to Mark’s place for dinner ( delicious, great service and so much variety). This property was very relaxing and clean. We would return.
