We had a wonderful 3night stay at Quarry cottage. It was a little hard to find but when we did it was worth it, peaceful, clean and comfortable. There was everything required for a great holiday and more besides.

Fantastic little cottage that's located about a 5 minutes drive away from Penrith town centre.
Fantastic little cottage that's located about a 5 minutes drive away from Penrith town centre. It was the perfect base for us to explore the lakes and surrounding attractions. The cottage itself was welcoming and clean with so many little added extras that really made us feel welcome. Would love to return one day.

Lovely cosy cottage with great views from the kitchen window/doors.
Lovely cosy cottage with great views from the kitchen window/doors. Spacious upstairs sitting room with a log burner that was much appreciated in the first few days when the outside temperatures were low, and even when it got a bit warmer too. Bedroom is a bit neat and not much storage but we found it comfortable.Great location for us; close enough to main roads for going further afield in Cumbria and on the fringes to get that 'away from it all feeling'. Peaceful, quiet setting which was what we were looking for. About a 10 minute walk and you're at the pub (Cross Keys - great food, huge portions) and just over 30 minutes you're in the centre of Penrith with lots of options to make it a restful break away.Great communication from the Owner at all stages. If we are visiting this part of Cumbria again, we'd happily book this cottage.

All ok.
All ok. Could do with a Name on entrance gateway as we passed a couple of times before we found it.
We recently stayed at Quarry Cottge and were quite pleased. The accommodations were exceptional. It was clean and quiet. The pastoral setting was idyllic.
