Super convenient location, very helpful and friendly staff!! Tub in room is an interesting challenge— but we made it work! Funky stairs lead up to lovely clean rooms, quite small and idiosyncratic but just what you need. Cafes and restaurants abound nearby. Highly recommended!

In all ways very good except in our room the toilet wall was a partion that didnot fully enclose the toilet cubicle ... not great for privacy & keeping romance alive!

I was originally very concerned based on some previous reviews . Don’t go expecting luxury / but do expect Parisian charm . First off , in a great area of St Germain - walkable to so many things . Many restaurant options in the immediate area . Reception was always pleasant and helpful . There IS a lift - it goes between floors so the most you are carrying your luggage is up or down 5 steps . I thought the room was adorable - gave me a true Parisian vibe . I found the room to be clean and housekeeping came every day. Lots of outlets (don’t forget your EU adapters). And the pièce de résistance - AIR CONDITIONING ! First night I was there, it had yet to be turned on for the season , but the next day, with temps hovering around 80, I was beyond pleased to return to my room after a long day out to a cool and comfortable room . I truly enjoyed my stay and would most definitely and happily return .

Great staff. Clean room. Good breakfast for a day of sightseeing. Five blocks easy walk to Seine River. Plenty of places within walking distance: Notre Dame, Louvre, Tuileries Garden, Luxembourg Castle and Garden, boat docks for Seine cruises, patisseries galore. Only problem was low setting for hot water.

Julienne and christian were so helpful and kind. Our every need was taken care of. They directed us to dinning options, called our taxis when we needed one. My mother is in a wheelchair, they held the door everytime we entered or exited, helped with our bags...overall they helped make pur trip a truly magical experience! The room could have been cleaner, but i think thats just me lol. The building was old but very well preserved and looked nice. It felt very safe in the area.

The location is fantastic. It’s a little worn but clean and comfortable. There is a bar across the street but the noise level was acceptable. You do need to be able to manage a flight of stairs. For Paris, it seems excellent value for the money.

The location is excellent, secure and everything walkable, metro line 2min from the hotel. Staff was very kind, but the installations were really poor, the mattress was outdated, the water from the shower came into the room and the air conditioning did not work very well. The room was not cleaned and towels were not changed on any day.
