What a cool boutique hotel in a great neighborhood in Paris. The room was small, but exactly what we needed for three nights in Paris. Being housed in an old brothel was a MOOD and we absolutely loved it. Everything in Paris seemed convenient, as it is so close to metro stations which can take you anywhere. It is also close enough to walk and explore Montmartre with tons of awesome food and dining options. Right next to a couple of bustling bars that seemed to be full of locals, so it made us feel like locals. Sounds from below was no issue either. Highly recommend!

A former brothel beautifully turned into a boutique hotel. What’s not to love? The staff was great, and while there are a lot of restaurants and bistros nearby, it was fun to enjoy a cocktail in the velvety swanky lobby.

Fantastic experience! The team is wonderful and the hotel makes for a quirky lovely stay!! I also got upgraded to a room with an adorable private balcony so it was extra special! The location is very convenient with plenty of dining options and even a supermarket nearby. Parking (if you’re driving) is nearby and a bit pricey for €38 but aside from this, it was a wonderful stay! Thanks so much!

Great stay

Everything was perfect. We stayed in two different rooms during our stay because we decided to upgrade the first night; both of the rooms were beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is located close to a metro station, which makes getting around the city very easy. A big plus for us was that our room was ready when we arrived early so we didn’t have to wait to check in, which we did not expect but greatly appreciated.

We (couple) stayed one night at La Mondaine and thought it was great. As with many Parisian hotels, the rooms are small, but they were well laid out and comfortable. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has a really cool history. There were many restaurant options around, a 3 minute walk to the metro station, and a 10 minute walk to the Moulin Rouge. Additionally, they allowed us to store our bags after checkout, as our train was later in the day - very kind. We would definitely stay here next time we visit Paris.

The Hotel was not easy to find as the street had construction, as door was behind a container. But generally the hotel welcoming was great, with freindly staff and good info. The Hotel is small and older style, most would book this for the interesting style. The room was clean and the bed slept well, all very tight but ok. The mirrors everywhere including the ceiling make it spicy, even though I was alone. I slept well. The location is in a great neighborhood, with food and safety at good level! Enjoyed and will stay again.

The bedsheets were broken and when I told the front desk about it, he said he will check on it. There was nothing to check on it, there were broken with a big rip on it. The bed was also very small, I am 5'8/ 1.73cm and there was not much space around me. Two people can't sleep in there. The room had also a strong smell of old building and cleaning supply, I didn't open the window as I was afraid the mosquitos will get in. I checked out after the first night as it was very hot also and I barely slept. The hotel didn't accept my request to leave earlier so I lost the money for the second night, but I slept really well at another hotel which had AC and a large bed. The girl at the front desk was very nice and friendly.
