This review is of academic value as we were informed by the reception that the hotel will be closed for 2 years from 1 Jan 2019 for major renovation.

Une absence d'accueil, un veilleur de nuit qui fume ( et l'odeur qui va avec ), un état général délabré ( moquette et mur tachés ), une chambre avec une salle de bain salle, carrelage cassé, VMC avec de la moisissure, poils collés sur les murs ... des meubles qui tremblent à chaque passage de métro, un chauffage impossible à régler ( chaleur excessive et compte tenu du bruit impensable d'ouvrir une fenêtre ). seul point positif, un bon matelas ( mais un oreiller hors d'âge )... UNE TRES MAUVAISE EXPERIENCE

Première déception dans la chaine Kyriad.

J'espère que la fin des travaux sera l'occasion de "rafraichir" l'ensemble qui annonce la couleur dès l'arrivée (porte d'entrée crasseuse et délabrée, murs alentours qui empestent l'urine). Accueil désagréable: arrivé à 13h30 ma chambre n'est pas prête. on me reloge dans une mansarde pour le même prix.au 3ème sans ascenseur, moquettes du couloir décolorées et usées...etc etc;;;

Hôtel pratique et confortable.

C'était juste un séjour d'une journée, une escale avant de prendre l'avion le lendemain. L'hôtel est très pratique niveau emplacement quand on sort de la gare de l'est. La literie est super confortable et le personnel est agréable. Dommage que l'entrée ne soit accessible que par des escalier; c'est embêtant quand on parte de grosses valises.

Bom quarto, pessoal atencioso, na estação de trem

Bons quartos, pessoal atencioso, localização estratégica no mesmo prédio que a Gare de L'Est, mas à noite a área externa não parece nada segura. No primeiro dia tivemos que subir com muitas malas de escada, pois o elevador foi desligado por um corte de eletricidade programado.

A hotel within Gare de l'Est

We had a hard time finding it at forst because the signage was blocked by construction. We couldn't believe it was at the Gare de l'Est- how convenient is that! One has to manage about 6 steps before reaching the elevator which will take you to the lobby.We had a quick and hassle free checkin. The room was adequate in size with a welcome tray of 2 free water bottles and coffee/tea. The bathroom was clean with amenities, including a shoe shine sponge! The breakfast area was very spacious. The buffet was abundant with lots of choices. Freshly squeezed orange juice to drink! Even though it was in the train station, we didn't hear any disturbing noises.Overall a pleasant stay.

Sentralt beliggende hotell

Valgte hotell pga beliggenhet (er integrert i togstasjonen). Rent, hyggelig betjening, god frokost. Minus: man hører/kjenner vibrasjon fra metro/tog. Litt slutte tepper i gangen, ellers helt grei standard for øvrig.

Not a good choice

IF you are going to take a train that leaves/depart from the Gare de L’est train station this is a right choice in terms of location other than that I would not recommend this hotel. Hotel is outdated and smells really bad. Carpet in public areas is really really dirty. Rooms have what you need but getting to those that are in the third floor is annoying since there is no elevator. The combination of stairs plus luggage is not a good one. The bathroom in my room had a wood table placed under the sink, against the wall to cover the pipes but the table itself was smaller than the open space and was kind of wet. I could see behind the table the unfinished wall and all pipes. The hotel does not have an ice machine neither they can provide any ice at the front desk. Walking around the area is a No. I did not feel safe. It’s not a nice area and the people than hang around in groups of many look intimidating. To get to where the tourist attractions are are you must take the metro that is inside the train station.

La entrada tenía muy mal olor, y al regresar a la madrugada encontramos cerrado el cerramiento de la estación, en el timbre Nadie respondía, en recepción no siempre estaba alguien para atender, fuera de eso el personal era amable aunque no todos hablaban inglés, la limpieza de la habitación era muy buena y la ubicación es excelente, dentro de la estación.

Très bruyant. Un bruit sourd de ventilation + les trains qui démnarrent... Très mal insonorisé! Hormis la proximité avec la gare qui est un plus, on a eu une mauvais expérience au global.
