Pardubice became a town sometime around 1340. Back then it was owned by the Lords of Pardubice, the most prominent figure of the line being Arnošt of Pardubice, the first Archbishop of Prague, advisor and friend to Emperor Charles IV, a distinguished European personality of that time. Buildings on the square and adjacent streets bear the oldest traces of early gothic architecture. The neo-renaissance city hall of Pardubice is the main focal point.

Wie auch andere schon in der Bewertung erwähnten, hat das Zimmer mit dem Whirlpool leider kein Fenster, daher Feuchtigkeits-/Schimmelproblem. Auch in den anderen Badezimmern Feuchtigkeit. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Es gibt sehr viel Platz. "Very clean, spacious family room. We had a small kitchen which proved very useful as there aren't many places open for an evening meal (seem to be open for main meals at lunchtime) but it's very close a a really good supermarket. Helpful staff. Pretty town to explore, good brewery/restaurant close by. Easy walking distance to the train station which gets you to Kutna Hora and Prague. "

"Really cool hotel in an ancient Medieval building right in the heart of the city. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and I love that it was downstairs in the old wine cellar. And our room was MASSIVE and had a great shower and lots of closet space and shelves. I also love the free coffee, tea and snacks in the lobby that we could access 24 hours a day."
