"Best view and sleep. Comfortable beds. Food was good not great service. Location is perfect for pancake rocks and hikes. "

"We were in cabins 11 and 12 and from our front porch you could not see the ocean but you could definitely hear it. There is access to the beach less than a 1 minute walk from property. Pancake Rocks and Blowholes is less than a 10 minute away. Accomodations were comfortable,clean and well stocked. Would recommend this property."

"It’s very close to the train station. The facilities are quite basic, and if you want to dine out you need to walk into the town centre. However, considering the location, the accommodation and the price are quite reasonable."

"Great spot . Cabin we stayed in could do with an insect screen on one window at least to keep sandflys out and allow some ventilation. Also not enough toilet/ show facilities for size of camp . Accomodation there has grown but the facilities have not . "

"The hotel was clean, and convenient. Half of staff were good, but the woman at the desk freaked out...running over to us when we attempted to take a plate from the nearby dining room up to our room. We apologized profusely for our error and she said it was ok, but plainly not. She gave us a different dish?!? Dining room was never more than 1/3 full, yet could only get reservation for an hour and a half later. Then the meal prep took exactly one hour. We asked why we couldnt have soup and salad first and were told in no uncertain terms we must wait...is there a problem with that? Nooo.... So finally the whole meal came all at once. It was late and we no longer cared."
