Staff is very courteous and welcoming. Available 24/7 for anything and constantly cleaning and organizing rooms. Only thing I mark down has to do with parking. Hotel does not have dedicated parking and will require luck and patience since parking can become difficult to achieve between 12pm-4pm.

This is my second time staying and I have no complaints. Front desk was very helpful. It is close to a train station and shopping areas which is convenient.

The front desk staff were very friendly. Note that not all staff members speak fluent English so knowing some Spanish will help. Rooms were small but fine for the area. Bring ear plugs as the area can be noisy. The area at night is rougher compared to the main steeets but keeping smart, you will be fine. Theres a 24 hour grocery store 200 m south. There are also $1.50 hot dog stands and outdoor cafe at the east entrance of the grocery store which is where all the locals hang out to eat. The vibe was amazing! Wifi was not always great. I often had issues using Google maps in the hotel. Housekeeping daily which I don't like.

Basic hotel room which met our needs for somewhere clean and safe to sleep. Common areas are cute and clean. It is not in a high tourist area, but it is easy enough to walk/taxi/uber anywhere. Nice room for budget travel.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Canova in Panama on multiple occasions, and each time, it truly feels like coming home. I can’t express enough how much I adore this hotel, and if I could, I would live here! The location of Canova is absolutely perfect. It is very close the breathtaking Cinta Costera, where I can go to exercise and take in the stunning views of the water. Whether it’s watching the sunrise or taking a sunset walk, the views are simply magical. What sets Canova apart from other hotels, however, is the exceptional service and the personal touch from Emilio, the owner. Emilio's front desk team is very professional and they always provide the best service and exceed my expectations with the little things ....always remembering my name and preferences, my favorite rooms and other details that make my stay even more comfortable. I love the positive quotes displayed on the walls. They radiate positivity and mindfulness, perfectly complementing the beautiful plants. I love the walkability of the area and if you are looking to explore, Casco Viejo, it is just a few minutes away. Every time I visit, I feel so at ease, and I truly look forward to returning. For the price this is a great value. I was very comfortable inside the facilities and met a new friend (Krys!). But the water pressure in the shower needs improvement and the surrounding area outside at night did not feel secure, though there is a precinct and police presence a couple of blocks away. I would definitely stay again and enjoyed the hotel and staff. I only suggest a deluxe window room for ultimate comfort. Thank you to the staff as they made my stay there splendid and were very polite and helpful day and night.
