Great host , not the best location at night. Great in the day . Less than 100 ft from market the main reason we came. Not a luxury experience but the people made it most valuable.

Quartiere ballarò. Degrado e confusione anche fino alle 2 di notte. Hotel Difficile da raggiungere perchè posizionato tra stradine strettissime. Non esiste nessun parcheggio per la tua auto,anche se nella descrizione vi era indicato. L'hotel dignitoso e la stanza pulita.Colazione sufficiente

El hotel perfecto pero el barrio no

Cerca del centro pero en pleno suburbio del casco antiguo. Por la noche de oye musica de la calle muy fuerte, casas casi deshabitadas.... zona que da un poco de miedo pasear.casi imposible llegar con el coche.callejuelas muy estrechas y llenas de contradirecciones. El hotel muy bonito, cuidado y muy amables, pero la zona fatal.

sejour palerme du 10 au 12 aout 2015

L'hotelier nous a accueilli le premier soir en peignoir... Faites attention à la réservation. Sur la notre; la salle de bain/wc devaient être privés alors que sur celle de l' hôtelier la salle de bain /wc privés ne figuraient pas. Il n'a rien souhaité entendre. Il est venu dans notre chambre pour nous la fermer à clef! Ce n'est pas une blague!!!! Il nous a dit pour les toilettes c'est sur le palier et pour la salle de bain,c'est au dernier étage. Elle est commune et il n'y a pas de clef pour fermer

dirty, noisy and unsafe hotel

we stay 3 nights, the neighhood is dirty and noisy with a bar open until very late, the host want us to pay him twice, but in fact we had paid with card at booking already. it took us half an hour to sort things out. reception cant speak english. we would not recommend this hotel . the neighborhood is not safe

we stay for 3 nights. check in took over30 mins because the host said we had not paid, but in fact i showed him the confirmarion e maik that had paid by credit card in full. he wants us to pay once more, he said our card had a problem and he had sent us a mail indivedually to get our card code. nonsense. the neighourhoid is terrible. african population with a very very loud bar at night

Das Hotel ist einfach, aber das, was man in der Kategorie erwartet, findet man auch vor. Das Personal war freundlich. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Ggf. könnten sich Lärmempfindliche durch die zentrale Lage und umgebende Kneipen gestört fühlen. Insgesamt für einen Städtetrip empfehlenswert.

Il personale é stato accogliente e riservato. La posizione é centrale ma non ispira sicurezza. L'hotel é carino,arredato forse un po' anticamente,bagno piccolissimo;dispone di garage privato a pagamento. Nota negativa per la colazione,scarsa.

Centrale e conveniente

Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, ottima posizione, piacevole accoglienza e servizi di buon livello. Come si può immaginare, trovandosi nella zona di Ballarò, non è facilissimo da raggiungere ed è spesso esposto a rumori e musiche ad alto volume di vario genere, fino a ora tarda.

5 days in Sicily

I went to Sicily to visit Palermo, Catania, Corleone and climb up to the Etna. I wanted to book only one hotel room in Palermo. Hotel Cortese is in the downtown and you can get a feeling about "real" Palermo. A family runs a hotel and they are very very friendly even if they do not speak English. But do not worrie won't be any language problem :) I rented a car to go away after I explored Palermo. They gave me a garage which was very cheap. But do not rent big car, the big car is a suicide in Palermo :) All in all I enjoyed very much the stay at Hotel Cortese. Thank you very much for the staff.

Hôtel plutôt vieillot. Petit-déjeuner insipide. Par contre, le wifi dans la chambre fonctionne correctement et l'hôtel est assez bien placé pour visiter la vielle ville, à coté d'un marché.
