All short drives from the resort: Green Sands Beach, South Point Cliffs, Kilauea Volcano, Ka’u Coffee Mills, and so much more. Greens Sands Beach is the only natural beach in the world that encompasses beautiful green sand made out of olivine crystals. South Point cliffs are the most southern point in the United States and are world renowned for its amazing views and cliff jumping excitement. In the other direction, Kilauea constantly spews out lava in the Volcano National Park for all to see year round. The Ka’u Coffee Mill is famous world round for it’s superior unique coffee taste- see the farm itself and take a tour of the beautiful uplands of the Ka’u district.  Punalu’u Bake Shop located in Na’alehu features freshly made Sweet Bread which now ships globally, and can be sampled and enjoyed in your lunch sandwich while lounging in the gorgeously maintained grounds and gardens. Ka’u has some of the most isolated and untouched landscapes in all of Hawaii. The swimming water, fresh and salt, is warm and crystal clear, perfect for rejuvenating the body and soul.
