"Excellent hotel in a fantastic waterfront location in Bergen. The views of the harbor and Bryggen are beautiful. The hotel combines historic charm with modern comfort, and the rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the breakfast buffet was outstanding with a wide variety of fresh options. Unfortunately dinning room was not open due to strike but plenty of good options available within short walk distance. Perfect location for exploring Bergen on foot. We just walked a couple of minutes to catch boats for fjord trips which was very convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return."

"A good size room, large in fact. Kettle and tea etc would have been good. Breakfast was pretty good, good service. Very handy for town centre, bus and light rail services to airport. It is getting on in age and the room a bit careworn but still ok."

Our room was very comfortable but only feedback was we did not have a full window and we felt a bit closed off from the outside. The staff was amazing and it was very centrally located to everything downtown."

"My first trip to Norway and I hope to return but I will never stay at another Scandic hotel again. The Scandic Torget does not have enough tables in its restaurant. Two days running, I got up from my breakfast table to go and get another coffee, only to find that somebody had taken the table on my return and there wasn't a thing I could do about it. This is a problem particularly for solo travellers. What are we supposed to do? If we leave a bag, book or mobile phone to show the table is in use and it is stolen, the hotel will call us foolish for leaving it unguarded. I have travelled to 6 continents and I had NEVER previously been in the position where I had to argue/fight with other hotel guests over the right to sit at a table where I had already been seated!! This is a disgusting way for guests to be treated. It doesn't matter that one hour at breakfast might be busier than others, a hotel should still have an adequate number of tables. My advice to people heading for Bergen is to book inn at the Radisson or any other hotel rather than Scandic."

"The views were absolutely stunning, and the sauna and fire pit were wonderful highlights of our stay. However, a few notable details: the hot tub water was unfortunately green, and certain finishings, including the glass balcony, moldings, and pool table, were not built with high quality. Also, as a few other guests noted, the neighboring guests were quite noisy playing loud music late into the evening. While we enjoyed the overall experience, these specific maintenance and quality issues detracted from our stay."
