"Didn’t have a pet nor use gym"

"Staff were almost rude, asked what time on site advertised bar opens . Response it’s closed I responded by ok what time does it open, I said it’s closed don’t worry about it. Rooms were pretty nasty dirty sheets and floors, 4 lamps in the room, only 1 receptacle no light switch smoke detector hanging by wires . Witnesss 3 couples check in 10 mins later let checked out. Unfortunately we couldn’t find any rooms in other hotels in a 30 mile radius Expedia should remove them "

"This property is a bit worse for wear. It’s in a cool historic building, but it’s not maintained well. The mattress seemed old based on how soft it was, the paint was chipping, and the room wasn’t as clean as I would expect from a hotel (e.g., hairs in the shower, marks in the toilet). I don’t see how this is a 4 star hotel in its current state."

"Several staff members were unengaging and fairly curt. The car valet guys were nice but having to valet the car every time we used it was inconvenient and expensive. During our 4 night stay, the room was only serviced the third morning at my request because I had spilled coffee on the sheet the first night and they didn't service our room at all the next day. They only did it the second morning because I requested it. The first night I also found a long dark hair on one of the hand towels and placed it on the floor to be replaced but no one came the next day. Our coffee pods and sugar in the room were never replaced and the trash wasn't emptied, even on the one day we had service. The Kelly hotel is attractive but we're not likely to stay again, which is a shame since our son and DIL live in Birmingham and we visit often."

"The phones at the Hotel did not work the day we arrived or the day we left. To get from the airport to the Hotel I had to call an Uber to take us to the Hotel as I could not contact the Hotel by Phone . It was cold and windy we waited outside for their shuttle to come by but gave up on it. The morning we left there was no one at the front desk until the shuttle driver came back from delivery and he took us to the airport."

"I was very disappointed in this hotel, although the breakfast was good The cleanliness of the room was unacceptable. I would suggest that you check your mattress in your sheets as you’re not sure what you are lying"
