During checkout we were asked to pay additional €37 – I paid in cash on check-in and the staff at the counter could not remember if I paid in full or not (I owed only 27 TL after checkin, not €37) and they do not give any receipts and had no records of amount I paid. I had to insist that I paid in full (owing only 27 TL) and the staff had to check the camera recordings to confirm that. Rather disappointing experience. I am not a scam or thief to be checked by camera. Datça itself is nice and the nature and the sea is awesome."

"We stayed at Deniz Hotel at the height of tourist season for a few days in late July/early August. I would highly recommend it for anyone travelling to Datca. It has an excellent location next to Kumluk Plaji and it is also within walking distance of Taslik Plaji (which is better in my opinion). The service at the hotel was really exceptional, particularly providing assistance with parking behind the hotel, which was crowded as it was high season and in general with small requests and questions about the area. The breakfast was also very good. They rooms were also very tidy, comfortable, and cool. In short, highly recommended as a base to explore the peninsula. "

Mosquitos bad, take repellent. Rooms perfectly adequate, most time spent outdoors.
