Rooms were clean, staff were excellent, facilities were fantastic. Breakfast was the best I have seen in a hotel in the USA. Hotel is close to town and has easy access to local hiking and driving trails
The pools were amazing, my kids loved staying and swimming in the property. The buffet in morning was just ok, the room was nice and accommodated my family perfectly.

Well for 1 thing dont ask for a spoon in the morning. Offical answer will be " we are not part of the hotel " hum but get a complementary breakfeast. Kinda rude. Other people are fine. The tiki bar is closed. For season. Outlaw bar and resturant. Was gooood but pricy. Good company but its a choice to go.
It was a great stay. We love the area and this hotel especially. Swimming pool and hot spring pools were great. A very nice atmosphere and food was good.
the hot springs elevated our stay surrounded by the majestic mountains
with the restaurant and breakfast choices it was a one stop place
parking was a challenge
Awesome location and the amenities are outstanding. The rooms are a little dated but that’s part of the charm.

Front desk staff were super helpful with checking in, loved the hot springs tub and vapor caves, beautiful setting, rooms were adequate although a bit dated and outside of the River lodge building was a bit rough looking with some peeling paint. Overall would recommend for the setting, hot springs and the food onsite from the Mineshaft.
Great location, on-site restaurant and hot springs/pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms are definitely a little outdated, but it was clean and had everything we needed. No complaints.
Wow amazing place. The hot tubs were all over and the steam cave was really unique. One of the few places I didn’t mind paying a resort fee well worth it.

Fantastic hot springs on property with great views. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Restaurant on property with good food. Walking distance to Box Canyon and Perimeter Trail. Our room was dated with AC and shower issues but heard they are in the process of renovations.... We would still go back.
The room was clean, beds comfy and fridge clean and cold. All the pools onsite, sauna and restaurant made our stay very enjoyable, we highly recommend this property as it’s well maintained and beautiful surrounded by mountains.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. Pools and hot tubs were great. Especially loved the adults only areas. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Would return in a heartbeat.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, but adding a proper safety rail to the top bunk would make it much safer for families with children. The spacious shower was a wonderful bonus and something we really appreciated.
Enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Was not a fan of the check in process, using kiosks. Seemed rather impersonal. Ouray is a beautiful area, but due to the Gold Mountain Wildfire nearby, the smoke from fire was almost overwhelming and we were mostly confined to our room.
The Mineshaft Restaurant associated with the Hotel was excellent as well as the Buffet breakfast.
