"This is a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. So, PRO: Súper friendly staff, big kitchen you can use, right in front of the beach, in the middle of nowhere. No people around. Perfect for a getaway with no cellphones. CONS: Not the cleanest place, they don’t clean the rooms during your stay, staff only works during mornings so if you need something during the day it’s kinda difficult. "Not many choices in Xcalak but Antonia and Maria made us feel at home. Breakfast is included in the price and very good and affordable dinners each night on the upper deck were so special after a full day of scuba diving. It was perfect for us."
