First, understand the Market which Ibis addresses. They are budget friendly hotels, usually outside of downtown areas, generally in commercial districts. They appeal to business travelers and families, and particularly important this summer, they usually have air conditioning. My room and the hotel were clean, well-maintained, and quiet. The front desk staff I met had some English, and made a good recommendation for dinner. Breakfast was typically French, with a good selection of food, and the staff was attentive. I would stay here again.

This place is pretty good. The staff and housekeepers are wonderful! One shortcoming is that there is no real desk in the room - one has to either use a small shelf by the light or a small, short table instead. Unfortunately, the breakfast area tables are locked away most of the time, so one can’t use those for writing, engraving graffiti, etc. The area is a somewhat desolate light industrial zone, but Lac Achard (and its mosquitoes!) is nearby. Only two buses serve the area, and they stop running before 8 pm. The breakfast is not bad, and there are restaurants and a cafe nearby. However, there is no grocery store in the area. Overall, this is a nice, affordable place! I would certainly stay here again and definitely recommend it to others!

Good and budget place for short stay. I spend 2 nights there and was coming very late only for sleep like other visitors. Small and clean room. Central air ventilation system was ok and bathroom too. Attention : After 21:00 pm self checking only and take reservation number from your confirmation email and it is for check in machine at the entrance, right side. It will be too hard to find somebody after 23:00 pm. No serious issue and manager of the hotel is trying to solve issues, friendly man.

The Ibis Budget Hotel was clean as always, living up to the basic Ibis quality. It was easy to reach from the motorway. There’s a burger restaurant nearby (similar to McDonald’s) that offers great takeaway burgers at affordable prices. The staff were friendly and quick to help. The breakfast was simple, with coffee available (though no black tea, unfortunately). Overall, it was great value for money. This was our fifth stay at Ibis this year, and we’ve never regretted it. Thank you again; we’ll continue choosing Ibis as long as you keep up the basics and affordable prices.

Great air conditioning. Strasbourg was Cairo on the Rhine but the AC at Ibis Budget was fabulous. Buses into town nearby. Taxi bus late evenings from Baggersee. VandB store nearby had a back bar with AC and cold beer. I extended my stay to stay cool in the epic heat. Breakfast was a delight.

Don’t stay here!!!

Our room was dirty, smelly and it had mold. The other rooms were not any better, we had booked 3 rooms and we were supposed to stay for two nights. But me and my daughter left the hotel and booked two nights in another hotel.
