"Room with a sauna all to myself was amazing. This property is undergoing some renovations and the staff clearly are pulling the weight of this hotel to make it quality. They are friendly, helpful and so accommodating. Location is waterfront, serene and quiet -particularly compared to hotels located within city center/square. Breakfast was very good. I highly recommend the orange marmalade!"

"Parking is perfect, only a few metres from the Reception. There is an inclusive buffet in the evening, light salad and two hot dishes with vegetables, perfect light healthy meal. Didn't get chance to try the breakfast as I left too early. It's 12 mins from the Airport which opens at 04:30, "

"The original room which we were allocated was not serviced on our arrival. Beds were not made and toilet not cleaned. We were re allocated to two rooms which meant our party had to split. One room had a window wide opened which could not be closed. The other room had three windows all locked which could not be opened, and it was very hot. Although we were given unique access code to the building, it was a shared block with other residents on different floors. Someone tailgated us into the building and trying to ascertain which hotel floor we were heading. The whole experience didn't make me feel safe, the cleanliness of the rooms was quality controlled and it was difficult to make requests because there was no attender on site to offer any help such as opening the windows. "

"We were horrified that lift was not available between 20.00 to 08.00. On arrival heavy cases had to be lifted up winding stairs and on departure down winding stairs. We were disappointed a sitting room was not available between 20.00 and 08.00. We understand that at Midsummer the above 2 facilities were unavailable for longer periods. We were surprised we had to pay our bill on arrival rather than on departure day."
