"The cabin was pleasant, had basic necessities. I deducted two stars because there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION from the host. The site said there would be no one present at check in and directions would be sent prior to arrival. I heard nothing, even after reaching out multiple times. I was concerned about arriving in early evening and not knowing how to get in. Turns out there was a lock with a key in it in the front door. Also, not this host’s fault, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get through...

"We stayed for a one night getaway and it was absolutely perfect! The setting is so quiet and peaceful and private. Woke up to beautiful bird sounds and parrots flying overhead. Enjoyed our coffee on the porch while it rained! Wonderful luxury down pillows and bedding and bathroom was great as well! Christelle was so kind and welcomed us in and showed us to our cabana! Wonderful setting. Highly recommend! :)"

"Be prepared to live out of your suitcase, no storage, very small casita. Lots of issues with hot water, due to being of grid. Long ways from San Pedro or secret beach so golf cart is a must. "

"This place was better then we could have hoped for. Owner met us when we arrived gave a tour of wildlife and plants and our bungalow. David, Owner, was very accommodating and easy to speak to. "Une magnifique piscine et un endroit très calme au bord de l’eau. Nous avons très bien mangé au restaurant Maracas de l’hôtel. Nous sommes passé par l’hôtel pour réservé la visite de Lamanai. Le top. Le bateau est venu nous chercher endêvant l’hôtel et le guide Coconut Pit était incroyable. À recommander absolument. "
